You know what i think of when i look at the DKs?
Oh hey they’re like the nightelves in the war of the ancients.
10,000 years later, they finally have actually cool eyes.
Cementing an iconic moment is boring, and a waste for a transformative moment in the narrative, lore/ story.
Those eyes were from an era of having your will stolen from you.
And after touching those blood/unholy/frost artifacts for a solid 2-3 years, and for the countless years you had mastering your spec, surely that could cosmetically affect your character.
I mean I enjoyed getting transmogrified as a mage in fable with those runes.
You call it iconic, i’ll call it lazy.
