DK bots in Battlegrounds is excessive and nothing is being done

In the 70-79 bracket there are atleast 2-5 Bots, not just DK’s, that will usually have random letter names. They either will stay mounted and run to a fixed point (run to mines in ab even if our team doesnt hold and stand on the flag mounted). They are useless. They waste up space and the teams start at a disadvantage. Kinda hard to win a WSG when you’re playing at 6v10 the entire match. It ruins the fun in playing bgs because you cannot win.

We report these players every game and not once has one been removed and replaced. Is anything going to be done about these bots or is blizzard sitting comfy on that 15$ sub and not care about how it is affecting the playerbase?

Blizzard will do nothing…even after all the videos and pictures of this happening.

Blizzard wont do anything because IT IS Blizzard running the bots. They fill these bg’s with bots to lower the que time. As soon as a real person ques up for a bg, it will kick out a bot and replace them.
Anyways, that’s my conspiracy theory.

Blizzard is not running the bots. Dont be silly. Takes an active sub in order to be a fully effective bot. Thats why Blizzard never bans them. You go to many of the classic servers and 100% of the players are all bots. You pst to them, zero replies back ever. If they reply, you can right click report and open up a box to report them as a bot so the bots will never reply to you.

If it is a bot, it will not reply.

So try to whisper them. But yea there are lots of DK bots. Happed in original WoTLK too.

Many people use DK to farm gold with botting.You can easily see it by searching casually. We can’t do anything as an ordinary player. Are we funny? -Sulfuras - Horde.

as i remember they simply were incapable of stemming the flood of PvP bots back when WotLK was retail…why would it be different now?

Too difficult to monitor a dozen BGs for bots, they rather police your speech

I was in a battleground recently and I was the only legit player on my side. There were 2 legit players on the other side and the rest of the 30 players in the Eye of the Storm BG were bots.

That makes 3 real players or 27 bots in the BG.

If you haven’t woken up to the fact Blizz has put Classic in maintenance mode, then you haven’t been paying attention.

Some degree of that is okay as it is an original vintage version of the game that wants to retain its feel.

But too much of that and its like all of us should have quit for a pserver that actually bans these bots years ago.

Now that I have gotten my Wrecking Ball achievement I absolutely agree, OP. This needs to be fixed immediately.

Good news, the Alliance 70-79 bracket for EOTS had 15 Alliance DK bots for 9 games straight.

Unfortunately, the CTA is gone, but they’re still queueing, netting us 6 minute wins for a whopping 600 honor and 34k EXP.

You can right click their frame, report player, cheating, botting. But it’s a distraction from the gameplay. Can throw a game doing that. They don’t make it easy.

Your post is from Jan 3. Today is 2/25/23, and the SoTA bg weekend is just as bad. 15 bots per side and lucky to have a few human players on your team. Nothing has been done by Blizz.

Or leveling BG’s.

I fired up the then 49 NE hunter yesterday. That bracket has real people. and you just hope you get more twinks. My break out to level 50 match closer was a nice 4 capper. We had more twinks but their twinks were real good at keeping the 5 cap not possible. Still…a nice smooth run.

Maybe I will see what the 50 to 59 bracket is like on that hunter.

I had 10 dk bots in a sub-80 strand of the ancients earlier. 10.
