Divine Image buffs

Divine Image now casts Searing Light when Shadow Word: Pain or Mindgames (Venthyr Ability) are used, and casts Holy Nova when Unholy Nova (Necrolord Ability) is used. Additionally, if the Priest is crowd controlled while Divine Image is active, the image will cast single target healing spells on nearby low-hp allies.

Divine Image spell-mirroring cooldown removed (e.g. queueing a Shadow Word: Death after a Holy Fire will now trigger 2 Searing Lights).

So what about this? I’m mostly intrigued by the spell-mirroring cooldown remove.
Have anyone tried it on the PTR?

Divine Image was already fairly good when it procced.

The major thing here is that Renew and PoM are both very good casts while your naaru are out (the spells it copies for these two are kinda crazy). So you can weave in a renew after a heal/flash while its out and it copies much better now.

But DI’s problem was always that it’s not reliable. It’s a flat 20% chance per holy word cast. It’s not PPM, so you’re not guaranteed a proc at all. On the flip side, it means you can get 5 naaru out at once if you’re outrageously lucky. It’s still a very good second leggo, and it’s a decent leggo on average if you’re not into using FC. But there’s always that chance it’s an awful leggo because it doesn’t proc when you need it, and procs when there’s no damage to heal. None of that changes, unfortunately.

I think a flat PPM would be better because it’s complete RNG on the Holy Word part.

In raids the fights are a lot shorter… only 6-8 minutes long so at most you’re going to see 2-3 procs the entire fight. In M+ you have more time and more overall Holy Word activations per minute if you run Holy Oration + Light of the Naaru (makes it take 6 casts to reset Serenity)…

So you can have situations where you get no procs at all during entire boss fights making the legendary basically useless. You’ll get more consistent healing out of running Cauterizing Shadows.
