DIVIDE_BY_ZERO, Access Violations

This is a player-to-player troubleshooting forum. I am a fellow player. The tech support agents who used to post here have been gone for over a year. Every once in a while, you’ll see a support agent dip in, but it’s super rare.

For the time being, I’m going to trust Blizzard’s tech team on this one over player experts.

A lot of changes happened between when the bug was introduced and when it was resolved. There was a Windows update, two game updates, many versions of addons (some of which alter the game until you perform a UI reset), and two GPU driver updates. With so many changes, solely blaming the addon profiler doesn’t make much sense to me from a troubleshooting standpoint.

Most testing information provided (in general) is incomplete or chaotic. Simply adding hardware profiles (via DxDiag) is likely more useful to Blizzard’s teams.

Additionally, as a volunteer, Blizzard places no requirement on me to acknowledge every player who participates in the forum or every troubleshooting step they perform.

I’m not an addon concierge and I don’t use any of those. I would only recommend most of that collection to someone I didn’t like very much.
