Discussion to change ToS

These guys probably think the term “Credible Threat Assessment Team” is something only the govt uses. When in actuality pretty much any massive company that deals directly with the public and who has a history of receiving D.T.s has either implemented by now or is the process of implementing a group of people who’s sole job is determine just how credible a threat is, activate a action plan, and notify and coordinate with the authorities.

If that information (addresses, names etc) was collected without that persons knowledge, thats a problem for me.

Everything seems to be a problem for you.

You are using a bad analogy. It is not like cameras in your home. It is like cameras in pretty much every other private business.

I was pushing for a secure voting system, which all people who believe in democracy should want, not one that can be manipulated and abused to a high degree with a near impossible burden of proof of fraud due to laundering. Mail-in ballots are exactly that type of system, and like I said, we have isolated instances which prove to what degree it happens.

That’s very reasonable to protect the integrity of elections from fraud through large amounts of money and power, to ensure we have democratically elected leaders instead of feudal lords.

You can believe mail-in ballots aren’t secure and be very liberal. The two aren’t mutually exclusive, despite what your leaders may tell you.

To label me as an ultra conservative fruit loop because I see potential for abuses in systems is really just showing bitterness.

Yup, exactly. Thank you.

As I have a subscription they indeed do need to have my billing information on file, when I did not have one they did not have it. Amazing how that works, other information is same as every other website has so no big deal.

Shh, don’t tell him that or he’ll never step foot into another store again! He’ll have to go off the grid and have his own farm!

Why do i keep seeing people compare how things work in a video game to murder?

Using stolen information?

No, your private computer and information therein is your private property. It is absolutely like buying a movie ticket then them putting a camera in your house.

Ah, so I was right, that was you!

Didn’t read the rest of your rant, sorry. I don’t bother engaging with fruit loops :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is so true, any company dealing with a threat,in my case,if was flammable chemicals and explosive substances, has a group the notifies local authorities and has a plan of action.

Using information that you agreed to give them.

Fixed that for you

Your computer is private while not connected to Blizzard’s servers. It is not private once you enter their domain.

I will let you in on a little secret. There is no privacy on the Internet.

what a strange analogy, it’s more like you choose to walk into a movie theatre and know that you are on closed circuit TV that they use to check who you are vs who they do not want in their theatre, If nothing bad, you continue, if bad, you go back home and no movie for you.

Which is why movie theatres employ security.

I’m sorry, I’m sure it was a really smart rant, sport!

Anyone who cares about truth wants security in elections, sport. You may be a run of the mill authoritarian democrat, but there are true liberals who care about honesty.

Almost always used by people who only want their team to win an election/sport
