That’s why I always reset the dungeon after the run.
The only problem I have with rogues is most of them really enjoy stealthing around at 60 and one shotting questers.
95% of the time I will be left alone during my travels if a similar level player rolls by. 98% of rogues will try and attack me and 100% of undead rogues will.
But as said before, just tell them you can’t open it then open it later.
you have been removed from the group
Just say your skill isnt high enough to open it then Ninja it while no one is looking
Well to be fair, Classim in Classic just seems as regular as Romanticizing nostalgia, and you’re aren’t the only one.
“Oh Hunters are so easy, their huntards”
“Feral Druids stinks”
“Mages are the new generation’s huntards, AoE pulls lawl”
“lol ret meme Pallys, stick to buffing and wear those dresses”
“Shamans? just a bunch of windfury junkies, relying on that RNG like it’s retail, play a real class.”
“Feral Druids stinks”
" Warlocks are nothing more but cookie vendors and summon bots"
" Fury or Arms? LOL Stick to your shield Warrior, you will be wasting your time dpsing. your only a tank. You just dumb muscle."
“Priests heal only or he’s a sucky version of Warlocks”
“Did i forget to mention Feral Druids stink? Go turn into a tree and start healing mister bernstein bear.”
etc etc… ![]()
Rogues are going to be naturally untrustworthy due to their secrecy, greed (some rogues aren’t in it for the money, bare that in mind) and their line of work, it’s kinda fitting actually. Though lest we forget this behavior isn’t exclusive to just rogues… we just do a better job of it. ![]()
The message is pretty simple: Don’t trust a rogue.
Also i dug this video up just as a cheap excuse to say what i have just said. That and Nostalgia. ![]()
Just don’t invite rogues to groups so this issue doesn’t arise.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
While I don’t care, and thus do not disagree with you at all here. I don’t care, don’t mind if rogues wish to pick locks and keep the contents.
I just want to point something out:
“Apart” kind of means exactly the opposite of the point you are trying to make here, I think, which would be made very clear by using a space; “a part”
Also, this is #fakenews Nobody ever said this about the best class in the game ![]()
Ehh. Maybe it’s just me, i always see Warriors as the “dumb muscle” type.
Maybe i’m the Classist.
Nah, I’m just kidding… “Me orc. Me smash.”
Kurog is making an excellent arguement for why you shouldn’t bother inviting a rogue in the first place.
Never seen a rogue get discrimanated against, maybe the problem is you and your attitude?
That only works after everyone has left though.
Not a problem if you boot him from the party at the end of the dungeon.
Rogues aren’t the only way to open a locked chest first off.
Secondly, if you are that selfish, you deserve to occupy many ignore lists.
If you were in my group you would be kicked and i sta replaced by another dime a dozen dps.
Or better yet i just wont take rogues with this mindset of “locked chest = mine”
Ok ok ok. A little carried away? Solid deeps.
I love rogues in groups, except the ones that as$ pull getting into position for a stab.
Calling it that is a bridge too far, but if a group is super pushy about that crap I’ll just say I didn’t train it and if everyone ditches at the end just double back for it
I think the other important thing that needs to be remembered about rogues, is that outside of lockpicking, you offer nothing unique to the group aside from ST DPS.
So by taking locked treasure chests off the table as a potential loot source (and keeping in mind there may be no locked chests at all) you are effectively shooting yourself in the foot for group seeking since your only other advantage (ST damage) isn’t so completely dominating that you exceed the value of litterally any other DPS spec that isn’t intentionally gimped.
So do your job and I guarantee you will have a place in my party and I will take care of you, or don’t and I will do just fine without you.
