Disconnection in specific locations

I was doing a delve when I suddenly got disconnected from the game (other characters in other zones had no issues), upon trying to log back in I instantly got disconnected again, I did a character unstuck service and managed to log in with no issues, but when I went to continue the delve I got disconnected on the exact same spot as previously, and with the character unstuck service on cooldown I had to wait for the delves reset the next day to be able to log back in.
I remember I faced a similar issue between 10 months and a year ago where every time I try to go to or through a specific part of Durotar I get disconnected and every time I try to log back in I get instantly disconnected again, and the way I solved it is that I found a post on the forums somewhere which had me go through the wow game data files (data.001, data.002, data.003 etc) and check them for damaged/corrupted files, delete those and then run a scan and repair, which fixed the issue and was running smooth until now.
However now I can’t find that post again and I don’t remember the process of identifying the corrupted files, I tried doing a scan and repair regardless and it keeps on stopping around 20% and says “Whoops! Looks like something broke. You could try restarting Battle.net.” needless to say that didn’t work.
If anyone could tell how I can go through the data files and root out the damaged/corrupted ones, it would be greatly appreciated!

I think it would be easier to scan your drive for errors, then reinstall personally. There are a lot of data files, and some are sizeable. Probably reinstall the launcher if it continues with te whoops error. I would also check any security software, that might block the launcher from updating. Not sure about windows updates, although I have not had an issue, some have noted issues with the latest updates and gaming.

Unfortunately the part about submitting a ticket with system files is outdated.

Thank you for your reply, I had already ran a drive check and found no bad sector or damaged system files, the issue is purely in WoW, and some specific zones, which indicates certain game data files, as I can still run the game and play it for the most part, but some areas of zones I cannot go to until I fix this issue.
