Disconnect Streaming errors since 10.0.7

Still getting massive issue, Newest issue is Big Green screen trying to log into a lvl 8 fresh new DK Get a Dc: A streaming errr has occurred Wow51900322 this is very frustrating that this still isnt a fix, Ive emailed the tact file ive done everything inside this forums… We keep getting promised updates, but havent been updated at all only, We know this is an issue please email this info.

I feel like I’m being pretty patient with this but it would be nice to get more regular updates on what they are doing. Though I’m assuming the silence after the most recent reply means they have no idea yet.

But we are on day 4 of being unable to play or at the very least extremely limited in what we can do in game.

Wanted to echo what others have said - instanced content seems perfectly fine and stable for me. It’s in the open world that I experienced disconnects and streaming errors every 30-40 seconds - particularly if using a flight path or doing something that requires new textures to be loaded. Maintenance this morning did not fix this issue for me.

I feel the same Baldwin… I really am not one for dramatics but outside of running instanced content the game is currently unplayable. A little more direction would be appreciated.

I literally just resubbed and I’m running into this issue. I’m about to never sub again.

I don’t get disconnect while in the old zones (only sometime while porting but that’s just a one time thing). Valdrakken no longer disconnect me as long as I don’t use dragonriding. Dragonriding is the cause of my disconnection. While dragonriding I get disconnect every 10-15s repeatedly. I had to dismount and use a goblin glider to stop the disconnection while dragonriding.

This is really infuriating to see that people are not able to play the game for so long with little to no updates regarding this situation!! Blizzard, take your time solving the issue, just update us on what’s going on so people wouldn’t be sitting around waiting for miracle AND compensate everyone for the time lost so your multi million dollar company could make your game playable!!

Thought I’d chime in here. After a reinstall, resetting all my addons, playing without addons, playing alts, and fiddling with network settings, these issues still happen. They seem to be more frequent on a character in the Dragon Isles than one outside of it, and I’ve noticed a lot of encrypted items still showing as checkerboard boxes and the like. Perhaps it’s an issue with decrypting Patch 10.0.7 content? I don’t know, I’m just spitballing.

Yeah, as of last night, still happening to me as well. Have yet to log in today.
Last night was alt raid night so it doesnt matter what toon i am on.
Thought maybe being in an instance would be better. played a couple hours in raid, thought all is well, and then 3 DCs in a row. then DCd in the middle of Raz.(at least i was still alive when i logged back in and continued the fight)
So it doesnt matter if im in the world or in an instance.

I posted early on that I was having this problem too, but after completely removing Wow and all the configuration files and then installing from scratch fixed it for me.

Same here, still really frustrating that we had to go to such extent in the first place just to make the game playable.

An update: I redownloaded and reinstalled the game for the second time in 3 days. I completely deleted the World of Warcraft folder in Program Files(x86), rebooted, and let it reinstall there again as a test. Copied my WTF/Interface folders back in, and I have all my settings, AND I haven’t crashed at all since then - it’s been a couple hours now, flying around the new zone, dragonriding races, killing rares, questing. It definitely seems like some cache or config files got corrupted in the patching process, since I was able to install in the same spot after a full delete, and it’s worked fine since.

and don’t bother putting in a ticket… They say it is a known issue and close it… the CS is worthless.

What’s kind of bizarre about this whole thing is it seems to be a specific subset of users. This really seems like an issue happening with content streaming, perhaps an issue in the CDN that it is downloading the missing content from (maybe a cert issue? or local to a provider like akamai where the data is corrupted). What is interesting is the game think’s I have all the assets downloaded, so why is it trying to re-download them (this is observable in the disconnect behavior - when I go to a new area, I disconnect, when I relog I’m okay, if I stay in that area the connection is stable)?

The fact that it’s not fixed yet makes it seem like something esoteric, it’s obvious they aren’t just ignoring the issue (though it may be understaffed).

All of that is to say, I still can’t play the game (as of right now, which is good because I should be working) but please fix?

Fyi regarding comp time for the outage: Remember when Macos couldn’t play for a week during the ‘last’ major update? I just received a gift of 7 days game time, so there’s that.

I’ve had some high lag and low FPS in open world areas, specifically Forbidden Reach, but I haven’t not gotten this error in open world. My error has been related to instanced areas.

I was getting it a bit during Lightforged Dreanei area, but was sporadic enough that I was able to finish. After that, I started the Mechagnome quest line and when I got to the instanced area for that race, I started getting the error after being logged in for a few seconds.

Sometimes world content is fine for me, but as soon as I get into an instanced group, m+, raid, etc… I get dc’d. I just logged on a few mins ago, 3 mins and I was being dc’d again with the A streaming error has occurred. It’s getting quite frustrating, especially when I was able to play the game perfectly fine until the patch dropped. I would love to get an update. We do pay to play with game.

I’ve done the same and I’m still experiencing the dc’ing constantly.

Hey Blizzard…any update on these errors? It would be nice to see literally anything about a timeline for a fix. Play has been impossible for 4 days now with nothing more than a 2-sentence post stating it’s high priority…

I uninstalled and reinstalled both game and launcher 3 times and still having the problem, I guess some are luckier than others with this “error”.
