Well, yeah, that’s part of what makes it easy
I can’t take anything you say seriously after a comment like this lol
I don’t see anything wrong with his comment. He’s just offering his personal experiences, while pointing out his lack of experience in PvP so people understand where it’s coming from (i.e. not an expert).
easy specs being randomly undertuned is mostly a random thing randomly happening rather than blizzard carefully thinking “yeah this is easier to play than that so it must perform worse” - I assume that they’ll never think like that
We’ll just have to agree that each other’s theories could just as easily be explained by random chance.
How does a disc priest lose a 1v1??? Idk you tell me it’s never happened to me yet.
I don’t speak for pvper’s as I said…I only based it off my personal experiences.
Missed the point. PvP in this game is balanced around 3v3. 1v1 encounters mean absolutely nothing, and Blizz has explicitly stated that 1v1 isn’t factored in at all when taking into account nerfs/buffs.
The fact is, Disc is undeniably the least mobile healing spec of them all, requiring talents for any kind of mobility/escape. To compensate, we are supposed to be a bit more tanky (Focused Will). But that’s been heavily nerfed throughout 8.0 - 8.1 and the 8.1 nerf to it was absolutely brutal to Disc survivability. Disc is now a super easy target to just tunnel from some comps.
And by the way, I was hinting that not only Disc priest, but no healer loses in 1v1 situations. The state of the game design is that a healer can out heal any amount of damage that a single player can exert, while slowly whittling them down. I could sit a chimpanzee down at my computer and the chimp could beat any dps spec 1v1. It means nothing
The lack of response combined with this being the Xth time I do a full feedback thread (that will, once again, go unheard) makes me really discouraged and dissapointed to keep playing the game.
Disc is so frustrating to PvP right now, and I do not think that “play only with your Gladiator 2700+ mage/rogue friends” is supposed to be a global solution to a class being so blantantly bad.
- Shield Discipline - I had to open the talent calculator to remember the name of this talent - Not a single soul has picked this in BFA, this is useless for every piece of Content. To a point that even if this was made 1% it would still probably not be picked, but at least people would consider it. I don’t think Blizzard should be afraid of making the least-throughput talent to be desirable, as it helps in Balancing numbers further without major issues.
I found it interesting to note that due to my lack of proper play with solace, this talent would have returned more mana on some fights while solace is theoretically better. So sayeth warcraftlogs. I think for most people, this might be fairly accurate.
The forums are so terrible mate, that most people dont come to them. Secondly, many people just quit playing disc when the pain level increased. That suggests a couple of possibilities: (a) its not intrinsically as fun as other specs for most players, and/or (b) they just play whats superior for xyz reason.
