Disappearing from Minimap & Graphic issues since patch

I’ve tried removing all addons and reinstalling fresh, only using addons that are updated for this patch:
I keep disappearing from the map. The arrow just goes “poof”, turning my minimap into a blank space.

I’m also experiencing graphical glitches in the character menu, where buttons half-disappear, names disappear of my characters, there are artifacts present, or even repeated blinking Black.

I’m unsure what I can do to fix any of this, and I have not seen others have these issues…
Anyone else experiencing anything of this, and/or have found a solution?

Also:
Yes I have a good computer, and my speccs are beyond whats necessary by a mile.
These are only issues I experience in World of Warcraft, and only after patch.
Before patch, all was fine.

My specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 78003D 8 core
Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Super
32gb ram

I’ve also been experiencing the same exact thing, only thing that fixes it is completely closing the game and then opening it on the same character, clicking around on your characters causes it to happen.

I’ve tried updating all my drivers, i’ve installed to a different ssd/harddrive and it still persists so its definitely something that happened with prepatch.

my specs are:
ryzen 9 7950x 3090ti 64gb ddr5
hopefully blizzard can do something with that

Happening to me as well. Usually after a disconnection.

I found turning “Optional GPU Features” at the bottom of the graphics menu off and on again fixed the issue.

Edit: Nevermind. That did fix the issue for a while, but it’s not the source of the issue.

Every fix is temporary.

  • Clearing cache.
  • Scan & Repair.
  • Full Reinstall, etc.

It always comes back.
And before patch I had literally - zero - issues with anything. Nada. None.
So it’s something in the code.

This has started happening with mine, since the most recent patch. I have disabled addons and tried other fixes but nothing works.

Yep still happening. Missing map icons, and it messes with the graphics on the character select screen. Please fix!

Same issue here, clearing cache doesn’t fix it.

Same issue here, it changes from the arrow disappearing to a complete black minimap, Also many glitches in words and nameplates.

Bringing this up.

Same issue. I also had something new today, some swirlies textures are not loading properly, happened to me in an Algethar Academy I just did.

I’ve been having an issue with this for almost 3 weeks.

At first logging in and out worked. Then when that quit being effective, deleting Cache, Interface, and, and WTF files worked. After that quit working I installed an addon and that worked for a couple days.

I just did a complete reinstall and that has done nothing. I went through the above steps again and absolutely nothing works.

I’m curious, does /console gxRestart fix individual instances of this bug?

Hey guys, I don’t know if this will work for everyone, but I fixed it myself by stopping to use the Warbound camp.

Simply remove your characters from the camp on the login screen. I never had any issues happen ever since.
