This is hysterical. They set things up so that your legendaries stay in play through the first 5 levels of BfA. And then when players take advantage of this situation - which wouldn’t happen if they had removed legendary’s abilities as they did the Artifacts - they hurriedly step in and slap this down like some sort of bad bandaid fix that affects everyone.

It’s just another example of a lack of thought and planning, of things hurriedly put in place to repair something that should have been made to work right in the first place.

After playing for 9 years, I cannot ever recall seeing this sort of level of inefficiency in the game before. Bugs, yes, but this…? Amazing.

GG, take action on fixing something people use to enjoy the game in it’s current sorry state. Did you not get the memo at Blizzcon? We don’t like out of season April Fool’s jokes.

I’m starting to question further the choices being made at Blizzard…

Exactly… I had to turn off xp gains because I had NOT YET unlocked flying in Legion… and if I had left xp gains on, that toon would have been 112 or 113 before I entered the BfA content… I hate that… since blizzard requires the pathfinder achievement and some of those achievements must be completed on a single character (rather than across all characters), I had to use a character that had most of it completed… I hate entering an expansion much higher than intended (plus, I would greatly outlevel my gear).

Sorry, you’re not playing as Blizzard intended.

Remember when Blizzard intended for us to play because we were having fun? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Right? As if leveling up new characters was what really took time in this game. Way to focus on completely trivial crap blizzard. How dare people find efficient ways to powerlevel new characters!

The fact they posted this is so very sad, especially when there are so many other things they need to fix but will not or do not know how to. :poop:

Powerleveling is in direct competition with the Blizzard level sales and therefor unacceptable. Thus this hotfix.

Dear Blizzard here is the simple fix. Force XP Gains in the Island Expeditions.

Simple and you wont have the entire community up in arms, about the only fun thing in the game to do. Please reconsider and listen to your money THE PLAYERS. I can assure you the twinks keep players in the game and playing which in return you make more money from micro transactions. You see a lot of time and auction house gold is spent in buying things that are required to twink or power level professions. They buy the tokens from you they sell them for gold.

Thank you in advance please reconsider. FIX= Force XPGAINS in Island Expeditions. FIXED

Please reconsider and think of a way to force xp in Island Expeditions. The Twink aspect of the game is huge and is part of the WOW experience since Vanilla . I for one enjoy it a lot and I would be willing to bet the overweening community agrees.
I know your statement has truth to it, but any easy fix would be simply to force xp inside island expeditions limiting all those 110’s from boosting lower players. To force XP on everyone that wishes to play the game as twinks will cost you money period. How? Here is how those that have twinks power level professions which most the times requires massive amounts of gold , they buy tokens to do this making Blizzard some cash every time a token is bought. All I am saying is DONt do it. Thank you in advance

PSA to those who think this change is still going through.
