This is an excellent point.

It’s like they don’t want us running quickly through anything. The nerfs to bear tartare prove that. Why even bother putting tmog in the game if they want to make it slow and painful to farm it? They removed any meaningful kind of speed boosts from Paladins. They are slow and cumbersome, and you are right - a pain to take into old dungeons. Those Legion legendary speed boosts actually make it worthwhile.

Except pvp isn’t the only use for twinks. I could fully agree with blizzard if they wanted to block 110+ characters with xp off by not allowing them to queue for bg’s even though it’d suck, it isn’t fun for non-twinks at all. However, getting rid of twinks all together is a huge oversight, there are a ton of non-pvp things you can do that are really really fun and effect no one other than themselves and their friends.

Because it’s easier than it’s ever been to exploit something like this. People did it a bit in Legion, but IEs didn’t exist then so it was slower, and the people who did do it generally needed to use expensive BoEs. Nowadays, any 110 with remotely decent gear can smash through an IE without thinking.
