Buddy it’s like a half hour once for the next three months
I do agree in principle with you, character power in PvP should be exclusively gained by PvPing. Same for PvE.
For whatever reason Blizz seem to like have the two intermingled a bit though. And this is not a bad iteration of it IMO. We’re not talking BFA levels of needing to grind PvE corruption on every piece, or Shadowlands needing to grind up PvE reps to unlock covenant powers, etc. It’s been far faaar worse.
A 30 min time sink for a less than 1% power gain is basically negligible. Do it if you really wanna min max, if not a corruption helm enchant is not the reason you will win or lose a game, can easily be ignored.
There are valid things to complain about. This is not one of them.
Actually, this is just proving Ion’s point that players don’t actually care about #s and will complain the same no matter what blizzard does with balance.
Nobody who played BFA and saw the absolute cluster**** that was og corruptions is complaining lol. Imagine if twilight devastation was clapping for 3-6mil and gushing wounds hitting for 10% a tick doing 30% of people’s overall damage. This is such a nothingburger in comparison with none of the RNG that was in V1.0
You guys are cappers
I put void ritual on my dev evoker and now I’m R1 eligible in 2s, 3s, shuf, rbg, blitz and have peak mmr in random BGs . Imagine not getting good and then crying about it when it’s excess able to all.
