Disable 1 button in rated content

Blizzard is taking this concept from those said botting. This isn’t new, you’re quite behind with how things are done lol.

Are you worried that someone using a one button rotation helper that doesn’t make smart decisions or use cooldowns/CC and reduces their damage by 20-30% is going to ouplay you in PvP?

No, I have a r1 shuffle title and get gladiator every season.

I am worried that blizzard forgets the common sense and adds something that will create nothing but issues.

It won’t necessarily affect the mmr range I play at but it certainly will affect others

This also disproportionately benefits specs like bm hunter or ele that will probably do competitive dps holding the button down and manually using cds and utility

The rotation helper is just an uglier version of hekili, which already exists. The one button version is just an easier version of that with a GCD penalty. Nothing is really going to change other than on the low end.

lmao…thats where you lost me guy…nothing else you say matters when you screw things up this badly.

VERY worried,…clearly…theyve all been screeching about it for a week.
Only one reason to care…theyre scared to death of being outshined by a one key commando

I’ve achieved everything to achieve in PvP. You’re way off on my reasonings.

It’s a bad idea like many blizzard moves

so what? Youre the pvp god, arent you? You should be smoking them regardless of a one key rotation that sucks at best.

Apparently you don’t, considering this:

It’s Blizzard’s version of GSE.

I do think that the GCD penalty is a poor way to penalize the one button effectiveness, since it will have more or less impact on some specs, and a lot of newer or casual players won’t even know what it means. I think a flat reduction in damage done would be better, clearer, and easier to tune.

Im thinking about installing GSE just to check it out for a few specs I dont like mashing keys for…Feral and Balance come to mind.

You’re afraid of something that is largely in the game already and well used by many. Your understanding in how it works is way off. If you are a highly skilled PvPer, you wont have a thing to worry about, the one button rotation wont replace actual button smashing and know when to use your skills and attacks correctly. Also for every time you want it to attack for you, you have to smash the heck out of it for each and every attack, it doesn’t just one smash and just starts playing the whole game for you. This is where you have no clue at what it does and how it works.

Yall gotta stop with this

I personally am not afraid of anything

It’s simply a terrible game decision that would be slightly better if disabled in some areas of the game

No because it wont matter in those area’s of the game because you already have GSE and its been there for many years, doing pretty much the same thing, if you have never noticed it, then you are not going to notice this version made by Blizzard either.

ok then…theres literally no problem to solve here.

why? It wont affect you…and it might allow someplayers who cant mash buttons well to get into the content…even if they’ll lose.
Losing is ok if youre having fun.

Guess you werent around for WoD when honorbuddy/firehack was doing 30% more damage than legit players in rated bgs.

When I first read it, I thought… okay this has to be a joke right? There’s no way they’d do that!

But after more thought and trying it on the PTR and seeing the damage loss, I really don’t think it’s a big deal. The players near the ceiling will be completely unaffected, and those near the floor for whatever reason will get an easy option to do just sort of okay.

omg…it froze up on me three times on beastmaster earlier today lmao.
just…FROZE…I had to run away because I had removed other keybinds to keep from being tempted to fire them off manually…so I got nothing.
It was MINUTES before I got it working again the first time and nearly a minute the other times.
NO WAY Id trust it in any content that matters, lol

The Single-Button option is specifically being implemented as an accessibility feature, say for those with physical or mental disabilities that can make WoW disproportionately harder for them that it is for others. Disabling this feature in certain content is by definition discriminating against those players by excluding them.
