I’m not going to play semantics with you. No retail release has ever been treated this way, not even the much maligned patches with a dearth of content like the first for WoD.

To literally anyone who thinks “Why would you take the day off to…” just go ahead and consider that your priorities are not everyone else’s priorities.

Maybe you take a day off of work for your birthday, and I think that’s absolutely asinine. Maybe you take a day off to observe a religion that I do not subscribe to. Seriously, whatever the reason, I don’t care. It’s your discretion on what days you take off and why.

Especially given the time frame of this release (a Tuesday… which is the most common raid day in the game), many people took the day off in hopes to prepare for raids. It’s a pretty courtesy with something like this to give a reasonable time frame, and the fault on that lies on Blizzard, since it was implied that it would be available following server reset.

The fact we have to make assumptions about release times is ridiculous. There are hundreds of players staying up to what is currently 3am in Australia waiting at the doors before they finally announce what time the content is coming out. Surely it would be server OR instance reset time, no, an hour later. Surprise.

hopefully they announce when BGs are coming. it doesn’t matter what level you are, it would be nice to have WSG in game right now.

I could MAYBE see an argument about not releasing AQ until a decent chunk were 60
