Blizzard needs to just stop with the farming nerfs. They are trying to appease the smooth brains with the constant nerfs to farms. So many content creators applause them for nerfing farms that are literally going to do nothing to combat botting.
Iâm not arguing against mage some farming, Iâm saying mage levelinf boosting needed a nerf. I donât think anything outside of mages boosting for exp should of been nerfed.
I feel like the only person making the jump from mage boosting and exploiting mechanics in instances, rogues exploiting pick pocketing mechanics and hunters selling loot from tribute to âall instance farming is an exploitâ is you.
Anyone can kill lashers and collect herbs in dire maul. Jump runs with a partner was a good way for people to make gold.
Which of these farms are you actually upset about? Maybe youâre a salty mage?
It might be a leap, but itâs still at itâs core the exact same thing.
Just because one exploit makes 100g per hour and the other makes 300g per hour doesnât mean the 100g per hour exploit isnât also bad, both need fixing.
iâm not complaining about any farm being nerf, it just not right that you can kill 3 bosses abusing their pathing and then mine one of the most expensive item in the game. The economy just going to get destroyed in a few days.
Thatâs another thing these DM:E farmers donât seem to bring up, they think DM:E is fine but like you pointed out they are also guilty of abusing mob pathing to cheese boss fights and using safe spots to evade mobs if they do a bad pull.
people wonât have issues making gold, but in my opinion it doesnât feel right to have a lock just for DME runs or a mage for boosting in old classic.
Same opinion as you, only thing id say in defense of the changes is im glad there will be some impact on the amount of blackmarket gold which for some people is a game breaker. There were people who played classic buying gold the whole time even to level so literally for some people gold buying is the game.
