it is a third hour now, it gone from 7-8 then 7-9, and is now 7-10am.

Do you want a game with fixed bugs or would you prefer them to bring the game back up now with all the issues it had before? People crying about 3 hours they can not play the game are just amazing.
This downtime is testament to how bad the QC for 8.3 was.
Seriously, it’s been a loooong time since I’ve ever seen downtime anytime that wasn’t Tuesday.

Realistically. They should probably do changes and hotfixes at night. You know when like 1 percent of the player base is on. Why they have never done that is beyond me. What nobody that works at blizzard can wake up to a 4 am alarm?
I do agree people go a little overboard and jump to busting out the pitch forks, but at the same time they are somewhat right. If blizzard knows they have all these problems going on, they should try a little better to accommodate the player base. Even if that means they lose a little sleep.

I know this statement is thrown around a lot sarcastically… I just have to say it’s ENTIRELY missing the point.
We’d probably get better service than this from a small indie developer.
Only a greedy corporate company would fire the vast majority of their QA team and push to release a broken patch early.
Hell, thinking about it, it could be the reason it was pushed out early was actually to capitalize on the Chinese market at the time of the Chinese New Year (actually a week from today, so probably enough time to fix the various debacles the game is currently going through). The new store mount’s timing more or less coinciding with the patch release… yeah, it definitely seems they care more about that market more right now.
In any case, I would propose that people stop using the phrase “small indie company” sarcastically. It does a disservice to the actually small indie developers, who actually do care about their products.
So start calling Blizz what they are:
