People are asking for things to just be handed to them, though. Getting Revered with a reputation generally takes a couple of weeks.
And people here are acting like it’s the end of the world. Like they do about every little thing.

It seems to be very common on the forum, it’s cringe.
They’ve broken promises since before the game came out:

On release day, buys game at 12:01 AM the morning of the first day partially because A BLUE said player housing was going to be in it (by the way, Garrison’s were NOT player housing.)
I am so patient, still waiting for “as soon as possible after release.”

As any kid knows, you don’t have to use the word “Promise” for there to be a promise.
Imagine this scenario:
Dad
“Hey kids, we will go to Disneyland. We won’t be able to go to Disneyland THIS year, but we will go to Disneyland as SOON as possible.”
18 years pass.
Dad
“Well, I never used the word “PROMISE” about going to Disneyland!”
By the way, I can’t remember what happened to “Katricia.” They suddenly disappeared on day, from the forums. I kind of wondered if part of it was this whole “housing/guild housing” promise debacle.
Or chasing rainbows for the gold pot at the end.It the same old grind again this time around am I surprised ,no.
Tbf different things were locked away in different ways, and some more than others.
Flight wasn’t locked away behind a grind unless you think making gold or leveling is a grind. Player abilities weren’t locked away unless you think making gold to pay for rank 2s was a grind. Etc etc. Not saying grinds didn’t exist, just it’s a bit more nuanced issue.

Because other MMOs do it (FF14). I haven’t played it yet but they do get flying unlocked just by doing all zone quests. Why can’t WoW have this, as an example?
They always fall back to their forced game loop.
This isn’t that game, each game does things differenty.
Why do you guys say “promise”? Did Blizz say “we promise to do this”?
Because the masses on the forum don’t care if it’s the truth or not, the masses will cheer on a blatant lie as long as it fits their agenda.

After seeing so many posts like this, I don’t want to ever hear from another player that I am playing the game wrong when people are complaining about having to play the game at all.
If it’s irritating for me to see people get bent out of shape over their own head canon, I can only imagine how the people who make this game feel. And I typically do not ever feel sympathy for them.
I dont trust them at all but its like they have no empathy. If you they failing then you should want to build up good will to customers. How. Make the last patch something worthwhile. More rewards. No gates.

You’re delusional if you thought stuff wasn’t going to be locked behind the new zone.
I feel like it’s totally ok that there will be ways to upgrade our characters through the new zone, just as long as there are more reasons to go there besides just that. 
It would just be a bonus to me as I’m doing it if my character gets more powerful. I probably won’t bother too much with it if not.
