Since the servers are down for maintenance, I decided to get a glance at the PTR and the story for Karesh and… I am absolutely bewildered.
This is bad… like real bad. Like getting flashbacks of Uther telling Jaina to ‘trust me bro’ levels of bad.

Believing anything she says, allying with her in anyway, especially knowing her history. Knowing that she inevitably betrays EVERYONE she allies herself with. It’s so bad.

Not really. It is very much a “We need to stop fighting each other for a second, or this thing will kill everyone” moment. This isn’t a rushed Sylvanas redemption arc situation.

I’d give it even odds. It is just as likely she was good all along (Blizzard favorite trope) as she’s just lying to manipulate.
She’s not a good guy. One of her goals, apparently, was getting some revenge on Dimensius because she used to be its harbinger.
We’re working with her because we need to stop Dimensius before it comes to Azeroth.
She still has her own designs for Azeroth, but right now stopping Dimensius takes precedence over stopping her. She is still a villain, just not the one we have to put our energy into stopping right now.
It’s like when we freed Azshara in Ny’alotha. We didn’t do that because she’s a good guy. We did that because she had something we needed to stop N’zoth, and she’ll likely return as a problem later.

Here’s how you solve that.
First go get a few years of writing for video games under your belt with some major titles.
Then apply to be a writer for this game when you have the experience and hope you might get hired so you can change the story.
If that doesn’t work then guess what,since it sounds like you are doing nothing but complaining that you don’t like it and how things are going, you can always unsub and move along to some other game.

The mad villainess can’t take over Azeroth if Azeroth is eaten like an M&M by a Void Lord.
I doubt anyone will trust her given the fate of her last two ‘aĺlies’. We are working together to have -a- worldsoul to fight over.
