Were they on the same bnet? Most “account wide” features apply to all accounts on the same bnet.
Oooh, so it’s a higher chance for the first time on the ACCOUNT. I thought it was per character. That does make the “change” even worse than I thought.
I got nothing with 5 characters and I also saw nobody else get it.

That depends on the drop rate, which I started this thread to get a handle on.
remember a .04% droprate vs a .03% droprate is a 25% increase, some would say that is a “greatly increased chance”. afaik they never said what the droprate is for your first toon other than greatly increased chance. Really curious what the actual % is.

They have not given us a number. They will not and never do, which is why I’m trying to gather some data here. One poster in this thread says they got it today.

Curious if the HH mount will get a similar boost to how it is given, considering in all my years of farming it on mulitple chars, I have yet to see the HH mount drop for me…
According to wowhead, the x-45 drop rate has been .03% up until now, while the headless horseman’s mount is .4%.
I like this idea!
Didn’t get it on my first character’s box today. Still running an army of alts too, of course.

No luck either here. I only got (3) characters however that are currently at Level 60+. Should have leveled my alts prior to this event starting as I have several at Level 51 at this time.
Really hoping I get it this year. Been farming for it every year since the mount was introduced to the game.

Two players have posted that they got it. That is a dramatic increase to about 1:13 or so, at least for those who have posted.

Do you know if the new rate for the first attempt works for each account withing the same bnet account?
51/52 alts and I got instances lock again…I won’t pay to move alts to another realm but this issue always cause frustation during this event…
