I don’t see myself taking these talents, outside of maybe Multi-Intervene (but that’s either on FC maps as Prot, or to defensively help teammates.)
As Fury, why would you want a freedom effect on Rallying Cry when you already have Blood Rage?
What really upsets me here is the “play with my baby” moment Blizzard is having with Thunderous Roar.
Thunderous Roar: Targets receive 5% more damage from all sources while bleeding.
I want a Spear of Bastion meta back. I’m tired of hit button > get damooj.

arms warrior already proccing a bladestorm every 30 seconds, they needed rally freedom/piercing root and/or double intervene
I’m looking forward to arms + aug + holy paladin being the new live lord 80% dampening comp that everyone hates. Duel and Safeguard are going to be pretty gross.

Don’t worry, Warriors will still find something to cry about. Nothings good enough. I guess now they’ll have infinite mobility, infinite roots, a way out of all cc, multiple peels, insane single and multiple target damage, and tanky too. While having 1 class counter. Must be nice.
But they ask to nerf mages. I don’t know how many posts have seen already. They want no counters.
To be fair, all these patch changes are friggin insane. Nothing about this thing makes a lick of sense. The Rogue stuff will be the end of the game if it launches like its forecasted. That will be light years worse than the Ret rework. In fact the entire patch screams fishing for a cash grab on Blizzards end. It couldn’t be more obvious. They banned thousands of bot accounts, balance is awful, que times are awful, player subscriptions are at an all time low. They are 100% fishing for reroll money. Its not even about balance anymore.

Mages are the reason warrior has the mobility it has, it’s some weird utility/mobility arms race between mage/war and the rest of us are just watching and getting cranked…

I believe you’re right on this. To me, the tool kit for a warrior feels excessive, because once and when they do connect, they shred. Then mages get more mobility and the race continues.
Mages check warriors, hunters check mages. If anything, I feel dks should be the penultimate player class to deal with all casters, it was their design. Not some sweaty warrior neckbeard.
The problem is warrior needs the mobility it has just to connect to mage occasionally. But then when it faces non mages its perma stuck to it. Mages need mobility nerfs, warrior need mobility nerfs, dk needs anti mobility nerfs (40 yard grip x2 lol), rogue needs mobility nerf (double step) and so on.

warrs kit has been really primitive
rudimentary? primitive is dumb a way to describe Arm’s robust kit.
It doesnt go from oppressive to “primitive” in a single expac retaining everything but overtuned SL (legendary) scales.

This thread was about Warrior’s personal mobility though.
These talents aren’t greatly increasing a Warrior’s ability to stay on target- there are existing talents better for that.
IE Blood Rage is better than a freedom on Rally.
Warbringer is better than 2 second Root on Howl.
New Safeguard adds a 10 second CD to Intervene, so if you spam it aggressively, you just wind up blowing your charges and playing with a longer CD Intervene.
What these talents are really accomplishing is giving Warriors new utility

Get it.
- New PvP Talent – Safeguard: Intervene now has 2 charges and reduces the ally’s damage taken by 20% for 5 seconds. Intervene’s cooldown is increased by 10 seconds.
- Piercing Howl: Roots targets hit for 2 seconds.
- Rallying Cry: Removes movement impairing effects and grants 30% movement speed to allies.
- Storm of Destruction has been redesigned – Reduces the cooldown of Ravager and Bladestorm by 30%, and Ravager and Bladestorm now also snare all targets you hit by 70% for 8 seconds.
And they get this in addition to everything else that they have without it.
It will always be World of Meleecraft. They did this specifically for mages. They just want them to dominate all casters now. However, they won’t change crap about hunters for casters. The sniping shot for 300k. Now premades with nothing but hunters using just rapid fire and chakram and explosive shot then killshot.

Yup, I am getting ready for the reroll and yes it will be either be a warrior or dk. Id love to pull my lock back out but not with where warriors are heading.
