Did the Horde and the Alliance get High elves?

People who say “Horde has always had high elves” are brand-new to lore. Blood elves would be offended if you called them high elves

Agreed.

Proof of this? Well Blizzard has always addressed high elves and blood elves separately.

• Remember back in WotLK when High elves had their own district in Dalaran, their own faction, the silver covenant and their own leader, Vereesa.
• In MoP High elves assisted Jaina in the purge of the blood elves.
• In Legion, Elisande addressed HEs and BEs separately. And High elves had their own army stationed outside Suramar.
• In BFA you can see high elves NPCs helping the Alliance in the warfronts. Opposite to BEs.
