Did Plunderstorm "cost us a raid tier"?

We’re still getting another season, just fated and in a couple unspecified weeks.

No raid tier was coming.

No, we didn’t lose a raid tier for Plunderstorm.

They don’t need our permission to make new content and try new things.

At the end of the day, you’re gonna be okay.

This is a win-win though.

This is more fun than any of the tiers this coach so far anyway. Glad they are trying something new

Players weren’t asking for WoW Fortnite, but the board of directors was

They should fire them, because this was a big mistake.

Honestly? …

I highly doubt it.

Most of ‘Plunderstorm’ is just reused assets from BFA.

The rewards could’ve probably been dubbed to something else ‘pirate themed’ or related such as -

  • Bringing back ‘Island Expeditions’ – Maybe some new ones, with new reasons to do them (Instead of Azerite).
  • Having a large pirate island, with quests, rares and secrets to unfold (Like Timeless Isle but piratey)
  • Seasonal event (Like Darkmoon Faire) but with pirates.
Maybe a few dungeons that share a vibe to some degree, timewalked up to scale-level with an achievement & new bonus loot – Like the Deadmines, Freehold and maybe a new one they could throw in.

Of cause, that’d require bit more effort than what they did with Plunderstorm — So there’s that too.

People who suggest Plunderstorm cost them a raid tier or a “Hugh patch” are just drama-queens.

Their fans think it’s good. Doesn’t mean everyone has to.

You ok?

Ah yes, let’s compare addiction to WOW. Might be the best one since so many people who constantly tell us that they don’t like the game can’t seem to leave.

How in the blazes did you get away with Poundtown???

EDIT: as for the question. Yeah probably lol

You should see how building videos are made for games like Enshrouded, Valheim, Ark, and others.

People love building. In fact, Enshrouded just had a $50,000 building contest with 15 other cash prize awards.

The answer is almost certainly, “no.”

The decision for the raids, and story of Dragonflight were likely planned out years ago, including the Fated season. I would even hazzard to guess that they wanted/planned to create something unique to add to the Fated season, and ultimately that turned into Plunderstorm. Some unknown fourth raid and Plunderstorm were never in competition for resources.

Another thing to point out. It’s all reused assets. Everything. Nothing new was made for this. It just puts everyone in a “vehicle” with abilties. This took very little time to make and probably a small team too.

I doubt the art team had much to do, which is one of the major time consuming branch. That team is likely more occupied by War Within anyhow.

Bruh. Are you kidding me? That’s ALL I want on twitch!

I’ve spent hours in both SWTOR and FFXIV checking out people’s homes.

That feeling when the minor patches are more major then the major patches though.

People get addicted to anything that gives dopamine hits. Drugs. Sex. Gambling.

WoW.

people ask for dumb stuff all the time, why single this one out?
