He’s into Orc girls from what I understand. Perhaps Draenei or Night Elves too because human females doesn’t catch his attention. I believe he seeks something outside the human realm. Heck he could be into Goblin girls for all I know.

Knowing how much of a prime target Khadgar is on the Burning legions hit list the luxury of having loved ones is one he can’t afford.
He once complained about how Girls would not want a face like his… He probably doesn’t think any Girl would be interested in him so he doesn’t make any attempt at attracting them.

technically speaking im sure he has/had a love interest but due to his position i don’t think that allows for one or in the sense he thinks it’s bad to have one because then they can manipulate him by taking advantage of his loved ones to do whatever they want or to basically watch them suffer and thus he goes down the rabbit hole of depression.
take for example watching your own parent die vs watching someone elses parent die doesn’t hit the same.
Basically he went from being a teen studying in Dalaran, to a teen studying under Medivh, to being prematurely aged to advanced adulthood.
I don’t think they ever really specify his current age but old shattrath Khadgar appears to be very very old, like an 80ish old man… but WOD khadgar appears younger, maybe a 55ish to 65ish silver fox.
TLDR Khadgar kind of skipped over his eligible bachelor phase, and WoW isn’t exactly interested in an age appropriate elderly adult relationship, nor an innapropriate one where he’s dating some 20ish Dalaran apprentice, because reasons.
He’s not worthy of Gaahr.
