A player has to factor in everything. The time it takes you to get to the quest giver, completing the WQs, inventory management, selling everything off you wish to sell, etc.
You might get 6000 gold / hour doing them daily with max rep. For hard gold farming that isn’t terrible I guess. The 5x5 farmers do a lot better then that.
I generally did the command table for gold, which requires anima. That is where the gold was at. This late in, stuff from the command table doesn’t sell for much. It still has a faster gold / hr rate then callings.
Technically it’s roughly 6k every three days. It’s only 6k in one day if you have 3 callings in queue. If you keep up with those callings it’s just the 2k per day.
But that’s per toon. Depending on the calling it can be done in less than 15 minutes per alt. Unless you’re like me, I go AFK on every flight path. That time adds up.
yeah i made like 75k in a couple hours doing callings combined with the treasures from the % completion callings and paragon caches.
callings are lowest effort and almost as high as doing carries. I remember BFA I’d do carries and I’d have to bust my (butt other word is not allowed rofl) sitting in the “queue” in discord to be the first to respond. It was that or you missed the carry opportunity. Callings are just way easier, and more consistent.
Also if you are doing the callings they are a great way to max rep and each spill over cache gives you about 3k on top of what the callings already give you and also drop pets and a mount. Ive made 60k in one day. Its easy enough to do on muliple characters (but i refuse for my sanity) just know what quests to do where. I personally skip powerful foes world quest and run the dungeon in that area, super easy. Fill the bar in bastion? Kill beasts of bastion the weapon drops sell for over 100g too or loot chests. Most fill the bars you want to loot chests, especially the ones in ardenweald (the decayed husks) that drop the drust scythe which sell for alot of gold on AH. As for the 3 quests in each zone choose the fastest ones available with the least competition, the cocoon one in ardenweald or dragon turret one or the pinecone with the moth are fast and easy, the parasol or cart race in revendreth, the light the torches and amateur night in maldraxus etc. Even if your playing on a less popular faction on your server its easy to do.
I really wish they’d add scrolls for teleporting to each zone, you can buy the scroll to teleport to theater of pain for 10g outside theater of pain which was really nice. Also been in a guild for a long time? Go to the guild vendor buy the 3 cloaks that teleport you to your capital city use the two hearth stones from legion and draenor go to capital city then oribos. Fastest way to get around.
