Did.. did Blizzard just listen to us?

If blizzard makes a change to pvp gearing they will be the absolute goat.

Blizzard listened!

With access as follows:

A) as an additional option to all new pre-Cata race characters in order to begin the game in their pre-Cata/Old World Azeroth starter zone with the original opening cutscene

B) thru a portal in the Wizard’s Tower

C) as an option in Chromie Time

no.

They listened to vocal whiners on boosting and choose the worst option that will create the most spam instead of just making an opt in channel. The cross faction it’s about damn time only like 2 expansions too late.

All it took is a massive stock price crash and the company to be sold off .

The faction divide has been grossly mismanaged for many years to the point that blizz is creating panic buttons they can stomp on to try and hold the game together.

That’s the reality of things.

But sure
 ‘they listened to us.’ :man_facepalming:

I’m hoping that this is just an initial implementation, which they’ll expand to all of those things, including guilds, in a future patch (10.0 perhaps). Otherwise it feels like a half-solution.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Many of us were so it was not really surprising lol. The boosting thing however was.

Blizzard won the internet.

Smoke and mirrors.

Left boosting in, just made it a tiny bit harder for the boosters.

No cross faction for “casual” epic and random bg’s.

Nothing to see here.

They waited so many years past when this was needed that it’s more like they let the baseball hit them in the face 4 times and randomly scored a run

But yeah a run is a run

jesus

Imagine a husband or wife only finally getting serious when they realize its over if they dont change.
Oh, right
i was married to that. lol. and ended up walking out when enough was enough.
never have been able to comprehend the sort that only does just enough to ‘survive’ instead of putting their heart and soul into it.

But this still means faction-tagging in open world.

Yes, this was implemented based on player feedback. Blizzard makes all sorts of changes based on player feedback, they just usually get zero credit for it.

If this ball goes out of the park is still TBD. I’m still on the fence about this change and I’d have rathered something else to keep the faction divide. I consider this the easy fix, but better the easy fix than the status quo.

we have seized the means of production!
but we don’t get paid

Game would’ve survived without these.

It’s not impossible they could just be listening to people you know
