I got him. It took 10+ runs on various toons. I also got a key of some kind but I’m not sure what it does yet.

I got Arfus just this morning but it’s the only holiday item I’ve seen drop yet. Not counting the rings and helm.
When you go inside the Scarlet Monastery there’s a keychain hanging on the wall on the left inside the door. Click that and it will give you a buff. With that buff you can enter the Scarlet Monastery instances as they were pre-Cata and get old items that aren’t available anymore. My friend got the tabard yesterday.

Not yet, and had my hardmode screwed a few times by DPS queueing as tanks and healers, and well, let’s just say that doesn’t always turn out the best. Blizz should not tie an increased chance of rewards to the hardmode, it should strictly be for the challenge otherwise you end up having people do stupid things and ruin it for others.

i just got him today. i ran 20 toons on wednesday 4 yesterday and then today on my first run i got him

I wouldn’t feel too bad about missing out on hard modes. I’ve done HM for every toon for the past three days (still a few left for today) and haven’t earned squat other than on my first toon of the day. At this point I’m starting to think the curses don’t do anything other than for that first toon of the day or if they do the buff is so minimal it’s not even worth considering. Ball dropped by Blizzard and kicked into the weeds.

Yeah, honestly, they should have the pet on the vendor as well at the very least. Though the Dragonriding mount customizations should never have been a Holiday boss drop either. I’m quite frankly sick and tired of this current Dev team and their obsession with making everything reliant on RNG because they don’t know how to make engaging content otherwise.

Worth noting wowhead has people commenting that they received Arfus from the pumpkin after completing the encounter with no curses. Doesn’t look like hard mode is a requirement for the drop.

Day 3, another 13 attempts, all HM, bringing the total to 39. Still no sign of Arfus. The hunt continues tomorrow assuming my sanity holds out.
Got the ghostly friend on my 23rd run yesterday, on a character I just leveled from 58 to 60 so she could have a shot.
Didja know if you try to do horseman on an evoker that’s less than a day old it will tell you “recently boosted characters cannot access legacy content wait until tomorrow” and just literally not let you enter the instance. Even at level 61.
Because I’m sure people disposably running the hour or two on evoker just to get to a horseman queue were such a problem.
Ran the Brewfest boss 100+ times no skin. Running Horseman 7 times a day on hard mode and so far no pet or skin 
I got mine easy mode I don’t think hard mode makes a difference

Not yet but I did get the Windborne Velocidrake: Hallow’s End Armor today.
I Just need Arfus as I already own the Headless Horseman’s Reins.
