Dude ruined WoW balance then moved to Riot and ruined League.
But people still look to him for gaming insight?
I don’t understand.

… he named a game after himself? LOL

It’s currently the codename, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets marketed as such.

There really needs to be a new title in the arena to shake up the current “old guard”. I just don’t believe Ghostcrawler is the guy to do it. Would be a shame to see another Wildstar event.

That’s the issue, as well: they’re going to get a vocal minority telling them things like “make it a challenge and gate it” like Wildstar and the game is going to die, because they listened to the community.

There’s only so much listening to the community that can/should be done.

how did he ruin league? is he the one that added yasuo…?

I am not joking when I say this, but mage heroes became pretty busted for a few patches after Ghostcrawler joined the team.

imagine buffing lux even more. holy yikes theyre in love w/ her.

Maybe I’m huffing copium here, but the fact they want to engage with players and get input at all is a pretty big leap from where we are (in WoW) currently. I don’t know what kind of players will ask questions or give input, but upon reading up on the website, it seems they have several ways to get the information and input from a variety of different avenues.

Palia mostly used their Discord and their feedback form on the website during beta. Lots of player asked questions, Q&As, accessibility chats, the feedback form was pretty in depth and they would get back to you about stuff. So that was nice.

Not everything was implemented, obviously. And some is still being worked on. But they did engage pretty well— up until the WoW players entered the scene, got toxic and now the devs barely interact after that.

Anyone who says this community isn’t the problem is lying to themselves, sadly.

Yasuo - Release Date December 13, 2013

I know you were just making a joke but… kind of, yeah.

Well that sucks. I mean, when it’s allowed to run rampant for so long, they never mature and do anything and everything they think they can get away with.

It’s really sad and it really sucks for the community there.

Yeah… I know they banned some people because they got out of hand, but there’s still a lot of toxicity in one of the channels. They don’t want to silence anyone, but with Discord, it’s too easy for things to run rampant before they can be taken care of. I honestly dislike that they don’t have forums and instead use Discord for that stuff. Things get lost so easily and things get out of hand without a way to stop it, because it can’t be moderated like that.

You’re absolutely right, unless they have full time mods for each channel, there’s no way. It’s very unfortunate.

I hope they do add forums one day.

Btw, did you get the beta of the Warcraft Rumble? I was playing earlier and it’s really fun. Apparently, once you get past the tutorial, you get a pet in WoW and a card back in HS. I’m guessing the pet won’t show up til the official launch, because it hasn’t shown in game for me yet.

I started to play a tiny bit of the tutorial and that’s when my COVIC vaccine hit me like a truck. LOL

I’ll let you know when I’m done with the tutorial if I get the pet. But yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case with the actual release.

i read this as baine

Baine brain?

My question would be how does he plan on doing double duty? Sounds exhausting

It sounds interesting, from what little is posted here. When it comes out, I’ll check it out.

I remember Ghostcrawler, when he used to come to these forums.
I liked him. He was a decent man.
