Not “fine” as in “we’re not going to make any changes”, “fine” as in “the changes we need aren’t massive, sweeping ones like in Legion and BfA” (although they didn’t call those out specifically).
They have systems and gear adjustments in mind for 9.0.5, and presumably for other patches, but those are tweaks to the existing system and not complete rebuilds like the Azerite armor rework in 8.2, and therefore, they’re not headline features at Blizzcon. It’s not that complicated.
Now I know why Ion looked so scared on the first day. They deliberately saved the worst two announcements for the last few minutes of the second day, knowing full well what backlash was coming. But they went ahead and did it anyways.

There is a tremendous amount of difference in the utility and damage specs bring right now, the game is the least balanced it has been in a long time.
Lets not forget that the VA PANEL WAS DOUBLE THE TIME OF THE ACTUAL REVEAL.
They balance based on raiding dps. They have never balanced on the basis of utility. I am not sure how they would even pretend to do so, although I guess since balance druids are the class/spec of choice of botters, that one could use an AOE nerf.

Most of my attention was directed at Diablo 2: Resurrected. Nostalgia for a necromancer that carries double-digit semi-permanent pets cannot be ignored. It’s one of the first online games I ever actually played online and it has (probably) my favorite necro iteration.
WoW might take a back seat for a while. It’s like they knew the weakest link in that game in 2021 was the outdated graphics and pow, here we are.

A lot of people already did, so encouraging more people to quit is not what this game needs.
As I expressed on another thread I’m worried that they havent mention any sort of fixes for most of their systems… it’s so early in the expansion and there’s systems that need a revamp or immediate atention with more rewards. Every single system they created this expansion are tedious and not much in fun or logical but just a PH for more improvement rather than having the actual product… from renown levels drop system to soul ash and more.
I’m also thinking that 9.1 might be the actual release of the expansion at this point.
they have gotten me through many a wintergrasp I drop in at 10 minutes and see us on attack 4 vehicles, other side in defence at 20.

Obvioisly was the worst Blizzcon ever . Cooking panels ? Voice over panels ? Good grief we all should of gotten free mount just for tuning in And full refunds . What a scam .
