Yup aparently a cosmetic ground mount being fomo and requiring minimal effort is scummy.
Never mind there’s hundreds of other options that are essentially given away these days.

You’d be wrong. Feels just like an easier aotc mount. Only I guess it’s harder to just pay a boost for one kill that they can save so you actually have to do it.

To be fair that sounds like a pretty healthy mindset to have
I just find “fear of missing out” weird I suppose, since this is my US account and I lack loads of stuff from my EU account, and vice versa
So whilst I understand that tge whole FOMO thing is… predatory, I don’t think it actually is at the same time - a company is going to do to whwt they can to make money and if drives engagement at the same time, I don’t see it as predatoey necessarily, manipulative for sure but that’s consumerism as a whole
So… eh, I guess I just care less about stuff I’m not interested in than the average forum poster?
Still though, maybe the more valuable discussion surrounding the slime kitty should be about datamining and consuming datamined information?

Why don’t you go ask some of those on dead servers what that’s like? The way you trolls act, it’s like you and Blizzard want every server to be dead servers!
Who are you going to raid with then? Or do PVP or M+? When you all get your way, you will be standing in a dead world, with very few to try and enjoy it with!

Unless you’re enslaved by FOMO, this outcome was pretty predictable.
This game already lost 10,000,000 (ten million players) since its peak in WOTLK. The remaining few are the ones that were OK with scummy blizzard moves.

I just did what I was going to do anyways and passively got it.

I mean, I got the slime cat but I wouldn’t really say it was something my guild “tried” to get. We just blitzed through Normal every Tuesday for the past 3 weeks for the benefit of some our guildies who don’t raid as often. We didn’t have to go over too many mechanics so we just ran through and one-shot each boss.
Worked out for me. We usually finished the raid a half hour before our 2 hour raid time was up which meant I got to go to bed early.
As if cancelling subs has ever caused this company to cave in. Or lose any money. Or change their ways. It does not work. I mean, they had a huge scandal last year that pretty much caused this company to tank pretty badly, but i was honestly hoping that blizzard would have had to file for chapter 11 bankruptcy or something. Like, legit i wanted this company to fall so hardcore.
At the same time, it is what it is. But, no hopes for dragonflight. No point in having any hypes. Why? Could be changed 2 seconds later.
If anything, nothing has changed. I will just play from now and expect nothing. Can’t be dissapointed with that attitude. I will have fun. But not nearly as much fun, by like i did by a billion miles when it was blizzard vivendi.
Now it is greedy activision blizzard/microsoft. Even with that change, nothing has changed. The game hasn’t gotten better. Unsubbing didn’t work last time, and it will not work now. Blizzard will continue being greedy. I have just chosen to accept that. They will continuously make bad decisions and never learn from them, and they will never go bankrupt, or actually change to a good company again.
When you can prove to me that subs are being cancelled for…whatever you think they are, then I’ll take the time to read everything else you posted.
Sorry to break it to you, but S4 has been a pretty big success by viewable metrics. I’d say WoW is fine. I know, you’re a doomer “legit wanted the company to fail so hard” but I guess you’ll have to settle for paying a sub fee and spitposting on the forums.
