I just leveled my Demo lock and has anyone else noticed how sometimes the Diabolic Ritual demons target random mobs and critters and not your main target or the target of your hand of gul’dan? I just did a few dungeons and quite a few of the demons went for critters in the dungeons or in the open world, feels bad when it is the pit lord, that being said I am having a blast with demo, hoping they fix this or make it so the demons hit your main target more consistently.
The Overlord seems to have the most issues from my experience, occasionally just standing still or being unable to charge a target due to terrain.
They knew this from beta. They didn’t fix it. Also that charge that our fel lord summon does into the cleave is horrendously slow.
With how fast this game is there should not be a ramp to his cleave it should be charging right into a cleave, instead he sit there for like a sec or 2 trying to charge up.
It’s a bug where the AI targets the nearest enemy instead of your target.
It’s been reported a thousand times in beta but yeah, small indie or something i dunno.
Yeah Kalamazi mentioned it a few times.
It’s aggravating when the tank is pulling multiple mobs in dungeons and then the asinine coded summon decides to go after the least priority one or when you have targeted the middle of the pack for a huge cleave and the fel lord hits the one far off the side.
I’ve seen that thing in pvp where you can have your main target and the summon will go off to the side to hit someone else. I’m quite frankly not sure how this isn’t a priority fix for blizz on bugs. And hero talent mechanic that will every now and then hit non targets.
Ty everyone for the quick and helpful replies, I didn’t play beta so I had no idea this was reported, it is driving me nuts to see the demons go for a random target/critter that isn’t my main target, hoping for a fix, cheers all.
