Challenge mode made them a CHALLENGE and they could have built more upon that system, now its just: every add has more health…/slow clap. every add hits 50% harder /slow clap. Oh look the tank needs to kite once in a blue moon /slow slap.

Which game is banned in China? Immortal is very active in China. The co-company Blizzard worked with is called NetEase and they have the distribution contract there as required by Chinese law. I am sure they get a huge cut of what is made there.
Other games are no longer being distributed in China though because NetEase and Blizzard ended their long running contract for those games. NetEase only has Immortal now.

I read battlepass and then I didn’t read anything further about the game. Decision instantly made upon seeing that. Just a shame what they turned the diablo franchise into from the insanely good game D2 was.
The size on pc is 85gbs, but if u modify install and uncheck the High Resolution Assets, it can be lowered to 45, for those who lack space or have a slow interweb connection just an fyi

Started playing D2, loved it… loved D2 LOD … loved D3 … will love D4 and D5 and D6… at which point I’ll probably be dead.
well that’s unfornaunate, all I remember was seeing an Amon video detailing about how the game got banned in China and was like hey that’s good for them.
Nope, I know where this road goes. I’ve seen it time and time again, at first it is cosmetics, then pay to win is added. Nope, I’m not buying into it. D2 was fine without a battlepass and that is all everyone wants a modern diablo that plays like D2 with new story, graphics, classes, mechanics. Does not need a battlepass or any of this crap.

Streamers are entertainers who want views, buzz, and promotion. It is unlikely you are going to get the whole story, or a story that is not being sensationalized.
Immortal had to wait like everything else for the Govt in China to approve it. That is what happens with all games there. There are a ton of special rules and approvals they go through. But that is boring compared to “maybe it will be banned!”.
Immortal is actually a good game and enjoyable IF you don’t care about the end game activities/PvP. That part is P2W. They fixed a lot of the general rewards so that the solo play and average char is a lot more fun. Also fishing is now in game and gives Legs for some turn ins. I like it. I DO NOT like the paid gem progress for power though.
D4 is not doing that and as long as they stick to that, D4 should be a good game.

Ah yes, the road you probably keep hearing about from some clueless youtuber or some reddit poster who complains about a game and says “i haven’t played in like 4 years but…”

yea like I said I thought Diablo Immortal was decent until I got to max level and then that’s when the game disgusted me and made me wish I hadn’t played it to begin with. I have no goodwill for Blizzard anymore, so if people are still sayings its good a month or two after release, then maybe that’s when I’ll run down to Gamestop to happy pick it up.

Nope, I don’t care what the youtubers say. I’m not saying don’t buy it, have fun with it and buy it and love it. I’ve been around the block one too many times and I see the writing on the wall, but that doesn’t mean others won’t buy into it and enjoy it. I’ve been gaming since the NES days and games were of a much higher standard and caliber back then when there was none of this cash shop bs and you bought the 100% complete game.
Sorry I was laughing to trying to find your challenge mode clears: which hardly anyone has on there profile so you are just a long list of people who don’t have that.
Oh but I see you have alot of Mythic + clears like you and 80% of all other profiles /strokes chin. I wonder which was more challenging, the one that you, and everyone else like you has done, with ease, clearing week by week or the more rare, less earned challenging one.
nah you right m+ are clearly superior in all ways sorry I even questioned it. I mean looking at your achievements you where around during mop: looks like you did a single heroic dungeon in mop: 1/11/2014 - Heroic Storm stout brewery . So maybe you should keep on laughing about something you clearly know nothing about and keep doing those busted, whack, inferior m+ that you and as said everyone like you have cleared.
But please point me where you have cleared Challenge modes from mops era: maybe I am 100% wrong and i do love being corrected: or let me guess this is not even your main account but won’t bother to link or provide your real one.
Those challenge modes must have been truly difficult considering your highest completed key is a +9. I also see in previous seasons the highest you have obtained is keystone master which anyone with a pulse can obtain.
