I don’t get why people like you defend review bombing. When they know full well that those reviews are false and illegitimate.

yeah, I’m curious to see what 1.1.1 is going to look like, I probably wont pick the game back up until S2 though.
I love diablo so I really do hope the game gets better.

I am not the only one that is defending Diablo 4.
Don’t get me wrong! I want this game to succeed. I’ve loved Diablo since the 90’s when I was a kid. I’m just calling a spade a spade here. It’s the weakest one we’ve had yet in terms of actual substance. Buuuuut the game just launched. So we need to give it a chance

d3 also sucked at launch but turned out pretty good as it went on

I feel like most their budget went into the marketing team rather than making sure the game was set for future patches. Game released and marketing was insane, paying for songs and promotional material.

Yeah. I would probaby rank the D4 story as my favorite…
And I dont think the end game is as bad as people make it out to be. I wouldn’t say it’s amazing, but it is pretty much what I would expect from any Diablo game
I never left a review but if I did. I would give it a neutral to negative one. It was repetitive and grindy before and slightly worse after
You’re the one coming in here without any evidence and claiming everything is review bombed negatively when everything is ACTUALLY review bombed positively and people like you are used to that.

I bought Diablo 4 at the request of a couple friends. To be completely honest if I was to give it a review I would give it a 3. The campaign is ok I guess but I felt like I was robbed blind. 70 dollar game plus it still has a battlepass and I genuinely have gotten more enjoyment playing several free to play games that are supposed to be more predatory.

I am not paid by anyone. But I am sure that your type of people love to lambast and accuse and support the hate filled threads and post that is negative towards blizzard.
They lost me at about lvl 40 and I wasn’t anywhere near done with the campaign. I wasn’t impressed with the gameplay, and don’t get me started on the cash shop. I can’t say I’m upset to see this happening.
I mean you did come into a different games forum… Make a bunch of assumptions… And then make more when your position isnt embraced.

I looked at season…saw I needed to play the game story completed to even see it and…said hahahahaha no.
I come from seasons in D3 and other ARPG like WH40K Inquisition where the “story run” is part of the season. First char runs…then alts get to freestyle if desired. this is the way! D4…I don’t get this way really
I’ll chip away at that at some point. But this crap jsut had me go yeah, not rushing to it.
edit: they could have said that month or so ago. I blew off d4 play thinking I can hit it in season more properly. this little gem was an oh…surprise! right on release.
