Not all classes have the same style of gameplay. Despite what you may think, the variance is quite large between dps specs.
Also, it’s a 3 min cd for the necrolord ability which forces you to stand in one small spot for it to be effective. You can cast the venthyr ability at least thrice within that time window. So to reiterate, no it’s not viable.
