Just give it up guys, the mid season buff isn’t going to happen. It’s obvious that Blizzard is putting all their effort into tuning DF talents and abilities. If, like me, it bugs you to be the worst dps spec in the game, stop playing S4. Take a break and pick it up again in a couple of months when DF drops. We’re looking pretty beefy in the beta so far with the new talent trees!
we know its to late for mid buff but the lock and hunter have changes and nerfs in the mid season xd. blizard dont care dh havoc for all shadowlands xd

Every time I transform (100 trillion years cd btw) into a gigantic demonic entity (299 IL right now with 2 bleed weapons) and then cannot outdmg blood dk with dps trinkets and gavel on single target till boss is at least 70% with bl / pot / axe trinket up - TRUST ME, I AM SMILING.
You wanna know how I got those scars, BATMAN???!!! Ha-ha, funny story. I just played DH in idiotic trashlands, you see!
Guess I am just baaaaad, Batman! And it doesn’t matter that I could pull 100 logs in mythic raids on every class I’ve played in every addon and it has NOTHING to do with this company being filled with incompetent spider monkeys to the brim!

Imagine doing THAT BAD, ignoring community over and over and over and over x18257182857 again, making this class close to being unplayable if you’re a competitive person FOR THE WHOLE ADDON (at least 1 year of HUMAN LIFE), and then have the AUDACITY saying something like, - our top priority is to rebuild your trust.
Ohhhh let me tell you. I have a LOT OF TRUST right now.
Trust that once riot MMO will go live - wow (or any blizzard product) will be deleted from my pc forever.

we were doing alright in 9.1 and the season 3 affix did very nicely in our favour if your group kept going for Uhr (borrowed power champions that we are) but this last season has been a rinse. I was really hoping season 3 could’ve lasted longer but oh well. Guess we have to have a “fun” season that revolves around pugging old mythic raids everyone’s forgotten the mechanics for so you can get instance locked for the first two bosses.

I’ve played fire mage the same time as Dh this addon.
If we’re talking about that virtually fire mage was top1 back in season 1.
Compared to mage - hunters were doing alright.
Sometimes I was close to being outdmged.
I cannot remember even once when I was doing more on dh on any affixes than on my mage.
And guess why?
Yeah.
Aoe cap.
Dh has it. Mage - does not.
Reasons? I’ve yet to hear any logical reason behind implementation of this god-awful abominable system outside of, - “BuHt My MdAiiiii”, that has like 20 k tops viewers ( I am pretty sure I am exaggerating here and it’s a lot lower) on twitch at any given time.
But even if it’s about MDI - then why the HELL it’s only for SOME classes? ;)))))))
Name me a reason why warlocks just do not have aoe cap at all? XD
AM I mistaken here? Need to check if affliction seeds have it or not but considering what I remember from season 2 I am pretty sure it’s not the case.
And demo even have aoe set bonus that ALSO do not have aoe cap.
Yet we’re coming back to DH and see that EVEN a demon from theater of pain HAVE IT, EVEN THO IT DOES ALMOST NO DMG XDDDDDDDD.
This game is clownish to the max.

I was pulling (without spiteful) 100-120 k dps back in season 1 on some hardcore pulls with mage.
And I MAYBE, just maybe, can do the same right now on dh while pressing everything and having + 70 items levels from season one.
Meta 4m cd , Axe trinket 3m cd.
Guess how many minutes combust cds? ;]]))))
It’s almost like you need to have EXTREMELY good sustain dmg, considering that you have WORST burst in the game.
But… nah… You just do not.
Sustain is also mediocre at best.
This is the worst addon I’ve ever played. Balance wise.
I’d rather play Vanilla.
And I hate Vanilla.
I agree that target caps are a part of what is screwing over havoc during shadowlands, but the main thing is a lack of attention to detail by whoever keeps the current expansion running while the next expansion is being developed.
9.1.0: hard capped aoe for everything but fel rush (UBC) and immolation aura.
9.1.5: soft capped aoe, some abilities were changed to start soft capping with fewer targets
9.2.0: double legendaries, agony gaze and a badly designed tier set meant we did not keep pace with other classes.
Sinful brand propped up the spec in single target fights, preventing proper tuning from happening to our base abilities.

With regard to AoE, there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to which classes have which caps.
We could have the most amazing talent tree in the world for DF, but if the old processes happen again then DH will be in the same position again where the only tuning is nerfs based on a glance at raid damage rather than actually playing the class and finding a nuanced solution that is fun but fair.
A single blue post calling it a “playstyle issue” when tuning is requested is very distasteful and erodes trust that the spec is going to be maintained well in the future.

Just look at wow head Season 4 charts and wow HDH dead last… worse than BM AND Alff locks… guess it can’t get any worse.

I do not need to look at it.
I am playing it right now cleared most of the mythic so far and can easily tell you that it’s THAT bad.
All of those affixes promote burst cds.
Guess who got ONLY clownish sustain and 50% of pi warlock burst once 4 (yeah, sorry, almost forgot about this pathetic set bonus, I mean name me worse set pretty please) - 3.5 min?
Laughable addon.
And about aoe cap is not a main issue and it’s about neglect - my guys and gals… the thing is… neglect is going without saying since… you know… it’s blizzard we’re talking about

idk sometimes i still pull my weight and wonder if things are really so bad. Then I get in a group with a WW and Surv that actually know what they’re doing and I wonder if the equivalent for havoc shouldn’t also be peaking 70-90k on an AoE pull.
Hearing that a last dance blade dance doesn’t pull ahead of a sinfull brand tick sure is rough… I know I griped about the original PTR 4p but I think that blade dance spam build could’ve been good fun! After a while I found myself looking forward to cycle of chaos/cycle of hatred/sinful brand build, but now doubt everyone would be sick of that by now.
Just an aura buff, 10%… maybe 15%? I mean we’re low low right now, I’ve never seen anything like it. And then 5% nerf to Sinful Brand to offset so that build’s not over-performing. That’s all it’d take!
c’mon… we gotta wait till DF to play what we wanna play? 
sometimes i dont know why i continue play dh xd its very dificult pug o do content with this char. no one want dhs in keys , you can wait hour for one key no one invite you. in keys 24+ dps war lock hunter magues etc… the have overal up to 25-30k i cant pass that dmg ever i have 3place in dps in keys that is sad.
