Dh mobility

Not even sure what that means, but enh is objectively top 3 least mobile spec. So again, a lack of retail knowledge.

You know what happens when specs have lack of mobility? Look at ret, it’s effectively a range class. We don’t need more of that.

I agree with that, I but i’m just broadly speaking about the mobility arms race that hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down in TWW. Like how shadowstep will have a free re-use for 3s after it’s initial press. Just stuff like that is absolutely not good for the game & other classes I’m sure are looking at similar stuff.

DH is a frontrunner in the issue. Ret is a weird twist on the Enh / DK market of ranged melee. IG survival is too.

If DH did less damage then it wouldn’t be such an issue. They keep nerfing the damage, but it’s never enough. The nerfs to their defensives feel better, sort of. The spec just has too much of everything, on top of mobility.

You’re looking at a very small picture and not thinking of how everything works together.

& If my grandmother had wheels she’d be a bike.

Mobility affects more than just damage & is probably the single most consistent balancing issue that this game continues not to address because players like being active & pressing buttons regardless of if those buttons are doing anything.

DH would also do less damage if it had less mobility & uptime as a result. Casters wouldn’t need to crutch on precog if they could actually create & maintain a gap, creating & maintaining those gaps would be consistent if melee wasn’t able to just reconnect at a whim. Without melee who can reconnect on a whim casters in turn wouldn’t need to escape 10 times over, or be nigh immortal. etc & etc.

It just goes on & on the changes that mobility affects on this game. I really don’t think it’s something that can be understated.

I’m not sure how to respond to this because it is wrong on almost every level.

Don’t know how wizards put up with DH, actually so disgusting to get a cast off.

On my aff (been playin it all expac, not just fotm s4):
Trying to cast a fear

Juke a little, misses the kick so I get precog
Re-cast fear, glimpses it
Precog falls off
Try again
Stuns me
Try again
Stuns me a 2nd time
Try again
Cages it
Try again
Tries to fear sigil, walk out
Try again, have to juke his kick
Juke it, try again with precog

Melds it

just so funny how much control this thing has all while blasting you some of the best ST pressure of all specs that cleaves with no thought.

Ah… the good old days when druids were the ones with the most mobility and it was never a guaranteed escape when using it.

Perhaps we need to bring back those days?

Strip every class of its mobility and leave druids as they are because they can still be stopped in many cases.

You can reverse Entrapment, not really the play typically but it can be done.

I miss non-Necrolord DH from SL. Did a lot of damage but got absolutely stuffed by half the cast.

Edit: 42s blur cd was still toxic, but lots of stuff dumpstered DH.

Tbh I think DH would be complained about a lot less if they had to use that redic mobility to kite, run and avoid stuff frequently and not W key at something relentlessly.

Same goes for rogue really. Maybe I’m just dated concept wise but I’ve always felt leather classes should be using their mobility to flee and kite outside their windows how feral typically plays and not to barrel at their opponents like the terminator.

With the proliferation of mobility, sustain and durability going out to every DPS class they all play like how a warrior should be operating except they arent warrs. Really blurred lines.

I feel like of the meta was faster, revert healer trinket/stam buffs, dh wouldn’t feel as insane.

Eh, it’s more slow pace then those things imo.

Idk fam, how long have we complained that rogues/dhs are playing like leather warriors? Not just DF either. They frequently have insane tankyness and play exactly like a warrior in leather.

Imagine if feral could W key you all game in cat form. Thats what it feels like sometimes lol

I just think plate melee should really be the exception on durability because they have to commit. Within reason

You should probably apply this same verbiage to your social interactions with others.

Yea iunno, with recent tunings I 100% feel dh wouldn’t feel like that if game was just faster.

Rogue is different as long as sub/outlaw can vanish constantly for free.

Yup and now you’ll have a chance to have get a 2nd glimpse after 3 secs of current glimpse in TWW. Or whenever you glimpse it will resets the CD of fel rush with one of their hero talents.

Had to run a lot on SL as a vampire DH.

Felt more fun to play.

This constant in your face crap just feels really dang bad.
