Going through the Legion Demon Hunter Class Hall questline, and turned in “The Arcane Way”, and was immediately served an alert “ineligible for quest” and no quest marker above Archmage Lan-Dalock for the following quest “Move Like No Other”. I see a duplicate report on reddit.
Same on my level 23 void elf demon hunter.
I am experiencing the same issue on my lvl 30 Void Elf Demon Hunter.
Also having this issue on both my new void elf dh, as well as my blood elf dh that I levelled through legion remix and hadn’t finished the campaign on (rip). Same issue on both with the pop-up message in text chat about not being eligible for the quest, quest log telling me to pick this one up next, but it not being there.
I was able to turn in The Arcane Way, which is the main blocker wowhead mentions. I tried to complete other questlines, specifically the hunt for the harbinger and “A Falling Star” but there is an issue also with A Falling Star. The ? appears in the Chamber of the Guardian but when you approach Khadgar, Jaina is also present (much like one associates with the harbinger questline) but here that questline is complete so I am quite confused why I cannot turn in A Falling Star. This MIGHT in turn solve the offering of Move Like No Other, or there may simply be some Velf DH issues at play here.
A Falling Star cannot get turned in until you dismiss the TWW starter, which doing catch up did not fix. What fixed it for me was talking to an NPC in the pillars of creation trophy room and finding an NPC which will send you off to begin TWW. Completing that intro and returning to Dalaran allowed me to turn in A Falling Star. But this did not solve the issue with inability to pick up “Move Like No Other.”
As long as this part of the order hall quest chain stays inaccessible, there seems to be absolutely no way to complete the achievement of fully upgrading the order hall upgrades (the middle one requiring L45 and the last one requiring completing Champions of Legionfall).
Playing as a Night Elf and can’t pick up the quest “Move Like No Other” either. I have tried doing a lot of the Legion campaign including quests like The Falling Star. I even did the catch up campaign and got my character to lvl 80 just to see if that would help but no luck. The quest shows on the map when I open it and I can even select the quest giver. When I close the map and follow the directional arrow, Archmage Lan’dalock does not offer a quest. Tried resetting UI in conjunction with disabling all mods. Hopefully this will get resolved, one of the few legion halls I have left to do.
Same issue. Finished off all the broken isle quests (in exception of Suramar) in an attempt to open this up but to no avail.
I just reached this point on a Blood Elf DK who is level 61 and told I was not eligible for the quest.
I just reached this point with my VE DH and the quest shows it should be available, but it popped up when I turned in the previous quest, that I was ineligible for this quest. Since it appears to be happening for all forms of DH it isn’t a race problem with DH but just DH class hall questline that is broken at this spot. I really do hope they fix this soon. I want the decor that comes with finishing the class hall.
Also turned in the quest on a void elf DH and no follow up quest
Same issue on blood elf demon hunter that was not boosted.
Still not fixed. I’m about to turn level 70. i can see the quest there, but NPC has no marker over his head.
Having exact same issue on my level 80 DH. Quest appeared and then said i’m not eligible and now quest giver doesn’t have it even though it shows up on the map.
Same issue as the original poster - no quest showing at the npc wowhead says give the quest
I can see the quest faded out in The Violet Citadel but the NPC doesn’t offer a quest. I’ve tried relogging, abandoning almost every other quest, doing A Falling Star but nothing fixes it for me.
One interesting tidbit here is the NPC appears to be level 90 (found on a related thread).
I’m also getting the same issue. Class Order Hall quest icon is greyed out on the map and when I get to the NPC, there’s no quest to accept, I’d like to finish this so I could get the housing stuff that’s locked behind Class Order Hall requirements…
I am having the same issue. Can we get a dev to chime in here to at least let us know you’re working on a fix or is this not even on the radar? I don’t normally speak up but this one is a show stopper and we could really use some help.
Not fixed with this weeks patch either ![]()
