DF abandons WoW’s solo playerbase... but why?

Rose tinted glasses or something.
For something from SL.

Now I’ve seen everything.

Shadowland was more friendly for solo world content players than Dragonflight.

Buddy, you can literally do world content right now and get Normal raid level gear, as well as crafting materials to make 405 item level gear.

Oh no I get beaten in a dps comp by someone, whatever will I doooo?

Uh probably content you can’t or won’t do, and get gear appropriate for my efforts. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I think he wants the giga-buffed version of relics that didn’t exist until S4 was almost out.

He wants it to go to heroic raid level though.

And then when we reach the next tier, he wants that to drop from the same exact world quests.

The GD complainers have shown me how easy it is to create a fake reality in your head to live out their delusions.

It’s impressive and a little sad.

I got 402 gear from the weekly accord box. But I can’t catalyst it so it’s useless to me.

Interesting you say that… yet, the M+ crowd seems to believe they should have access to tier gear via a little gear machine.

Where is the logic in that? Oh wait, we are talking about the M+ crowd, so what they cry about they get.

Well I mean if you stopped being bitter and 10 levels under cap, you too could reap the fruits of your labor.

So you talk big about my abilities playing a class, but when provided with a chance to show how “good” you are you just dismiss it. So you might just be bad. Like me.

Thank you for admitting the numerical reality that soloing the storms as a DPS is like trying to solo a dungeon. It’s just not meant for that by design.

And the initial gear is only 359. No wonder no one is doing them.

Pre-season gear was 372 from Mythic Zeros, but for some reason casual and solo players had to wait until the season started not for a catch-up but a downgrade.

Storms gear should be 372 baseline, 389 when upgraded with Sigils. Storms mobs and rares should be soloable but scale up when tagged by groups. There, we would have a workable progression system. Group content players can and will quickly pass that up.

the gear machine was meant for all of us…

There’s way too much hate inside you.

Not a single m+ player asked for a end of the week reward system.

It was actually the casuals like yourself, asking for a protection system

It’s always easier to complain about who’s ahead of you than to admit you reap what you sow.

These people are too blinded by their toxic elitism to see that storms are not solo friendly, and when you’re the only one there you’re SOL.

Nah I just laugh at you because at the end of the day, I don’t really care beyond egging ya on.
Plus you know, I have achieves to show that I did the solo content of old.

I’ve made this point many times before but there is quite literally hundreds of hours of solo content you can engage with that was made for the LAUNCH of SL, as well as the subsequent patches. And every single solo player that comes to these forums to herald the death of WoW for not catering to solo play, hasn’t touched a second of it.

Why? Because it didn’t reward them gear they deemed adequate, despite the game providing them gear that, largely over equipped them for that content.

And despite the absolutely abysmal number of people who actually played that solo content, blizzard still spent hundreds of dev hours doing it again for DF.

It doesn’t matter who’s doing it.

If you decline to participate in a form of content, then you also decline all the rewards that form of content has to offer.

Anyone who declines to participate and then whines about not getting the rewards is just being entitled.

Not all world content is going to be made for you to solo. Nor should it be.

Bit weird, ain’t it.
Like I got a shammy friend who absolutely decks me on the ground both in dps and ilvl, and I ain’t griping.
I just see him as what I could be at that level.
