Spite, seemingly.
Removing it isnāt the answer, Iāll say that. My personal issue is the timer and the mindset that goes with it (I tanked for long enough to utterly despise āgogogoā). But Iāll also admit it looks fun. Maybe Iāll give it a shot in Shadowlands since Iāll have a guild again to do things with
If you were Alliance Iād bring you along for some training keys.
M+ is the only reason im subbed.
Sorry you dont like it.

Really does sound like that doesnāt it? ![]()
Yeah Iām too scared to do M+ I know that cuts me off from a lot of gearing oppritunites I can do as a solo player⦠but I also think it has its place in the game and doesnāt need changing.
So the real problem here, as Iām seeing it, is that those who dislike the focus on beating the timer dislike it because they are running other peopleās keys and canāt control whether or not those other people want to progress their keys.
The simple solution is to just run your own keys. Start your own groups and make it clear to whoever you invite that youāre not worried much about beating the timer and just want to finish the run and get loot. They lose nothing if the timer isnāt beaten.
Of course it is, thatās how you upgrade to the next difficulty.
I think simply not having the keys decrease when failed would go a long way in resolving some of this tension. (Put the power to decrease a key as a button option on the font of power.)
Just have the key change to a different dungeon of the same level when failed.
Also on a side note: What is the better roll? A roll of 100 or a roll of 69?
Right, and that to me is the entire problem. The timer seems like it was intended as a bonus, not the goal, and people donāt use it that way so it fosters a toxic environment.
This really does kind of sum this up pretty adequately.
Who knows: maybe OP is getting so frustrated heās banging his head against the wall and getting concussions!
Mythic+ induced CTE is a real problem
I agree. I loved dungeons, ran them all the time. For the last 2 expansions I barely step into one because the go go go speed runs are NOT FUN, and every difficulty has become a speed run.
Or at least, it will be in a couple of decades, right?
So donāt run them, there is other content you can do. It was added to give non raiders a gear path that was close to that of raiding.
You should leave again if youāre just going to come back and ask to remove content others enjoy so much
I have no problem with Mythic+, there are a lot of people that really enjoy. I wish I was one of them, but Iām not; I hate the very idea of a timer. I would really like Heroics to be relevant again though.
Iād like to to be able to gear through Heroics, or something similar that increase in difficulty without a timer. Yes, I know that your donāt HAVE to beat the Mythic+ timer, but that is what every group wants and expects. It becomes a rushed and unenjoyable activity for many of us.
Iād like to see currency added back at the completion of a dungeon, like MoP Valor Points, with which gear can be purchased. IMO, itās far more satisfying to run content, even repetitive content, and be able to progress towards towards a goal. RNG awarding a thing just isnāt rewarding. Also, Titan Residuum is a poor substitute due to the RNG in getting is from Azerite gear.
If you find yourself randomly wanting to choke a panda NPC who said the line āslow down, life is to be savoredā you may be experiencing the adverse effects of long term exposure to mythic plus timers.
I recommend NAPā¦the one punch super cure all that will clam you down and help you get thru those feeling of murder rage. Warning: adverse effects may equal bad hair, being yelled at by significant other, having your cat sleep on you and waking up in odd positions.
Can confirm, NAP changed my life.
āI havenāt played in ten years but Iāve come back for 30 seconds to say remove contentā
Ok
I donāt run them, but thatās not the problem. Lower difficulty has become a training ground for mythic+, everyone runs thru them as fast as they can and uses them to learn the skips and other stuff to help in mythic+. And that completely ruins the other difficulties.
