- Developers’ notes: Kill Shot critical strikes have been particularly deadly for Hunters, so we’re reducing the value of Improved Kill Shot. Marksmanship will be receiving several other adjustments to shift more of their damage profile into their base rotation.
Are they serious?
That’s why its called Kill Shot and Not stay alive shot!
There can be no talents or anything that can be decent for hunters. They will nerf it all. ALWAYS!

Kill Shot should have a secondary (perhaps stackable) MS effect. “Stay alive shot”, I laughed at that one.

Kill shot improved dmg will be nerf only for MM ? because the spec has talent for KS reset right ?
watching at my SV hunt, kill shot crit are around (lil over 100k avg), retpal wake of ashes or monk sun rising kick can do the same and no problem. (frost mage can go way bigger with glacial pike)
hoping it’s not another unnecessited nerf to SV -_-’
PS : rename kill command to go get petted by stranger

I dont get it man, I get crit by mages, warriors, dragons for way aboce 125k and KS needs to have all kinds of procs to give 125k damage and above.
Im getting tired of this cause it looks like they’re playing with hunters.

It is really odd, because most of the time killshot hits are fairly weak, granted with MM and procs it can sometimes crit for a decent amount. But at this point it makes you wonder what is going on that they keep nerfing MM hunter damage when it is not out performing by any means.

guess the pvp dev (that’s right, i’m pretty sure there’s a single guy based on the lack of some classes getting tuned assassination while others are getting absolutely sledged) got hit by a death blow ks from some guy for like 200k trying to gear up a fresh toon and thought that it was normal

To be fair, the classes that are critting for big “kill.shot” style numbers arent just hitting one button either, as an example:
Warriors need 2x Overpower, Avatar, Recklessness, Sharpen Blades, spear drop, trinkets, and sometimes even a BS before their MS actually hits for anything. Every class that stacks CDs for big numbers do so the same way hunters do for KS. Actually, most classes have to put alot more work into something to make it hit like a KS does after really only 2 or 3 gcds.
