You mean you need real people that think like you do cause you don’t want to see wrong answers ![]()
the small vocal were the no flyers. NO one who actually played wanted no flying.
So explain how WoW kept getting more subs prior to LFD addition at the end of wotlk?
Please I would like to know this from your perspective
Tell us how WoW didn’t die when LFD wasn’t added from 3.0 to 3.3 or whatever patch ICC was
No clark. You just cant help yourself, can you? No matter what blizz does, you cheerlead and tell falsehoods.
It LITERALLY didnt. Its subs went UP after LFD, and this is easily googlable.
you’re being a hater-hater again.
This is an utterly false narrative debunked many times.
Q3 2010 went up half a million subs because of the hype of cataclysm
Dungeon finder was added in q4 2009
You’re telling me that within 3 months of Q3 2010, subs only went up from a feature released in December 2009? The subs stayed the same from q4 2009 till Q3 2010
While ignoring a pre catacl event and a December 2010 launch?
You need a reality check
Lol, no i was THERE, the backlash against no flying was so bad they brought it back with in a couple weeks.
they polled people that are happy to pay to spam lfg as it is
the classic forums are full of people who just resubbed to prep for wotlk and had the rug pulled from under them
I don’t know one person who did not want flying in WOD, but I do know two guild’s full of people who complained about it being attached to pathfinder and not the way it used to be.
I do agree with OP though. I quit both classic and BC because it was near impossible to get into groups for dungeon runs. With classic, I put it down to people leaving, but with BC, it was from the start. I never really understood the hate for group finder considering the fact that if you don’t like it, you don’t have to use it to form groups. ![]()
i mite not even be playing wrath without lfd its a no go for me.
no lfd cost blizzard my boost.
Same. I had been playing a new BC toon to move to LK. No interest now.
i have almost zero interest now in classic wrath.
It’s evident they haven’t played their game so far and they’re gauging things off forum whinging.
At the start of Classic and Classic-TBC I agree, community is strong and dungeons are plenty.
Mid way through? We’re trading LFD for pay to boost culture, dungeon’s are scarce right now even on healthy servers because it’s accepted to pay for RFC+SM+Mara+SP+SL boosting.
Anyone who believes LFD is worse than gold based pay walls clearly is out of touch with their game and community.
Swing and a miss, try again. Fix the OCE only arena queues too, everyone who campaigned for that has quit/doesn’t pvp
That’s nonsense. There is nothing social about standing in town for hours trying to find a group to go do a dungeon with, especially if you are late to the party and everyone else has moved past that dungeon onto higher levels. Even guilds often didnt help if there was no one on or they were busy doing other stuff.
LFD in fact made the game MORE social because it allowed you to play with people instead of sitting alone outside the instance entry. You couldnt even quest in case you had to travel there in a hurry and missed out because you were taking too long.
The removal of dungeon finder from Classic Wrath has pretty well killed my interest in playing it.
I think what could honestly solve this issue, is kind of like how they handle PVP servers or RP servers for people who mainly like those things.
Blizz could add several RP and PVP servers specifically flagged as LFG dungeon finder friendly servers, for those who want that. Not like separate classic server servers, but actual servers from the drop down server list.
A server could be called Sindragosa ( PVP/LFG DUNGEON FINDER) or something along those lines. Or like Arthas (Normal/ Dungeon finder)
If it did not have the dungeon finder tag, then the dungeon finder would not be present on that server.
I would see this as a win win solution to all parties in my op.
Or, in all honesty, just create two versions of the wrath classic client. One without the dungeon finder, and one with the dungeon finder.
Then all the people who want the dungeon finder experience will get that. And all the folks who want the non dungeon finder experiece would get that experience.
Yeah its a bit like the old response to those who dislike flight (ie just go around on your ground mount). If people want to do it manually, let them. If others want to queue, let them. Isnt this game supposed to be about choice?
Or make it server specific since the “social fabric” thing that they claim eroded would happen if it was cross server.
oh my community how will i survive without my communities oh the humanity
