They can be bad/in a bad place while still being viable to complete content with. I’m sorry that you are too dumb to understand that those two things can be true at the same time. Also, the comment about there being no point in going beyond 18’s was in reference to gear, which is absolutely true. You left that part out.
As for why my opinion matters, how would one opinion matter more or less when it comes to this? I still do heroic/mythic raiding. You seem to be too dumb to realize that there is other difficult content besides going beyond 18’s in M+.
Maybe we can start up a gofundme campaign to get you a brain or at least some reading comprehension.
Glad to see the no skill spec is in the trash for once.
BM hunter is doing really well right now, actually.

Every spec in the game is “viable” to complete PVE content. With enough friends willing to put up with it you can even complete most content naked whacking the boss with your staff/dagger.
Doesn’t make it fun or good design, especially for a pure DPS class. Doesn’t make the whiplash great either.
Stop excusing incompetent class design.

they have trash for awhile.
I mean its nice that madness is gone but being only a few dps ranks above the tanks on boss fight feels bad.
I didn’t claim that being viable makes your class good or great. Also I didn’t make excuses for incompetent class design. I would love you to show me where I said that. The quote you did of me was when I was pointing out the flawed logic of the other person.
Please work on your reading comprehension.
We’re not great but it’s not as bad as people are implying. I’ve been absolutely cranking some pulls. I’ll take buffs anyways though. Make mastery with work DRift or something.

I never understood the fascination/preoccupation with DPS. If the fight progresses and the boss dies, then what’s the deal?
I was booted after a few bosses in Amirdrassil yesterday because of “d0gsh|t” dps from my DH. But I never died and was one of the few remaining people still fighting before the wipe. It came down to poor tanking mechanics and healers not keeping up, but a few of us were booted.
I jumped into another group on my evoker later that day. The raid leader was incredible, the tanks knew their jobs, and there were Big D healers. We did 9/9 and only wiped twice- unheard for most pugs.
This is generally the response from people not pulling their weight / being carried.
The deal is that a lot of people care about their performance. Low DPS also makes killing bosses exponentially more difficult.
Or DPS was so bad that the fight was going on for too long and the healers were running out of mana.

“This is generally the response from people not pulling their weight / being carried.”
This is generally the response from people who are agitated when someone questions DPS. The bottom DPS with 200 - 250k is still pretty good. I don’t see how that is being carried.
My last sentence deals with healers. Get healers that can throw big D heals and all is good.
Well it ain’t that bad now. My Destruction spec sims just as much ST as my Demo spec. It’s still very behind for M+ and cleave/AoE though.
if the sim is close, it’s because you have wayyy too much haste (for Demo). Destro still likes haste quite a bit right now, but Demo wants to cut back to the 15-20% range once you get set, esp if you get Belors.
Did a few keys on my lock Inerte@Stormrage-US this weekend. Nothing fancy just lowbies keys 12-13. I was rusted and using the last season spec but it looks like it will be demono again? God doing a key as destruction felt so bad i went straight back to my hunter.
How much haste should I be at with Demo, and what stat over it? Mastery/crit?
It’ll be better to get a read on it using a sim, as current trinkets and such can heavily swing it towards a certain stat, but (as cursed as it is) stats are currently shifted towards vers > crit > haste/mastery.
On-use staff and double damage trinkets are playing a big part in this.
I hate playing rogues, they are pretty difficult to play, IMO. I love warlocks for the opposite reason. Maybe people need to be rewarded for playing rogues. It’s a dirty job and I don’t want to do it.
This is why I’ve been playing my ret pally alot more this expac. So much easier to do damage when moving around vs having to stand still long enough to get a cast off without getting hit by bad.
destruction kinda needs a rework, i feel like the playstyle of being a turret does not work will all the movements you see in m+ or raids nowadays

If the turret playstyle felt more rewarding, I wouldn’t mind it as much but right now you have to turret to try keeping up in most situations.
There have been a lot of complaints but I actually really enjoy dimensional rift, I just wish chaos bolt hit harder and havoc (the spell) wasn’t so mid, and Cataclysm wasn’t in such a precarious spot in the talent tree.
