Nice to see this is still not fixed
In my experience, if you kill the other surrounding non-quest mobs, including the non-aggro ones, instead of just waiting for respawns they pop faster.
This quest is completely and utterly stupid. Has to be one of the worst world quest designs. 20 people fighting over 1 mob is ridiculous. What dev needs to be slapped for this?
Bumping this because Blizz still needs to fix it. Up the spawn rate please, I’m tired of fighting over mobs
This World Quest is hot garbage with the mob density and respawn rate the way it currently is. It is not fun at all. I hope whoever designed this WQ reads this and is thoroughly ashamed.
Give it the same density and respawn rate as Low Hanging Fruit and you’ll be golden.
Bit of a necro but here’s a tip: water elementals just OUTSIDE of the quest area marked on the map will still count for this quest. Specifically, mobs inside the 3 rooms(?) in the sides of the cliff surrounding the area, where you go for the regular quest objectives.
