Democracy for the game

No, most of the people here have horrible ideas and aren’t worth listening to.

Well you put forward the HOA as a case where we can’t control our own property. The reason is that when you enter an HOA you sign an agreement that gives away power to the HOA.

On the flip side, Blizzard never signed an agreement that gives us any power to control their property. In fact it is the other way around, we agreed to follow their rules about what we do with their property.

Didn’t they do something like this by letting players vote on the tier sets for season 4 and didn’t some classes like warrior get trolled with people intentionally voting a bad set in?

which is why ill NEVER join an hoa.

Well, In Texas, regards to HOAs…

When you buy a property in an HOA-governed community, you are obliged to become a member of the association and abide by its rules and regulations, which you cannot legally decline.

Not sure about other states, but I belive they are the same.

Yes which is proof it’s a terrible idea. Also happened with Destro warlocks.

I have the same but jy current house is in an HoA that’s very very lax.

I’m talking about so lax there’s one guy with broken down ac units in his side yard.

Fees are only $300 for the year and that’s to maintain roads/lake beach area

whims of the devs pls, thank you

And that is where you make your choice. If you don’t want to follow an HOA’s rules, don’t buy property in an HOA.

No democracy is cringe. Imagine handing the reins of game development in to the collective wisdom of the playerbase, most of which have zero experience in game design.

No, game development is not a democracy, but you already vote in a way. You like what you see, you buy it. You dont like what you see, you dont buy it.

Democracy is a terrible form of government. Problem is, everything else is worse.

I know places that have over $1500 hoa fees and do jack.

Hell no; some of you people are very dumb and should not be making decisions for anyone.

Without the contract we could change whatever we want to change. I’m going to stop responding to you now because my simple joke about HOAs has turned into a pointless argument over “ownership” of two completely different things. Have a nice day.

I don’t know, maybe I’m agreeing with you. I know there is no such thing as private property in an HOA and no such thing as a democracy in WoW. Where you stand on those obvious facts is not clear to me.

On HOAs my stand is: If you don’t want to give up property rights, don’t buy property in an HOA, by something separate from HOAs.

On democracy in the game: WoW is the property of Microsoft / Microsoft Gaming / Activision Blizzard. When we play we are guests on their property and we have to follow their rules.

So you are arguing with me for agreeing with you? Go away, I’ve already got a wife heh heh.
