Resto isn’t doing so hot right now either. Mana burns pretty fast and the heals aren’t good enough to warrant that. If you get the right Azerite traits it’s doable, and brez is handy, but it’s too complicated to get the same value as a priest.
I think warrior damage is insane right now and they’ll eventually over take blood as crazy as that sounds… More gear that comes the more that spec is gonna be insane damage wise. DH needs a cool down or something to help when demon spikes isn’t up… Soul barrier is ok but not great … And bear needs help with anything not physical . It’s really not hard to see that. Prot paladin could also use some kind of help for when SOTR isn’t up. But I can’t ask for too much of all my tanks .

I agree DH suck at anything beyond Heroic as Tank spec. That does hurt a bit. I had to play Havoc and I hate DPS

Me too that’s why I play all tanks lol I have all of them and what a difference maybe the problem is blizzard wants you to make a choice… Have a fun spec… Or be useful…

What are you on? Resto druid is one of the best healers in high keys still, and has the easiest time with some affixes.
Feral and bear are both in a bad spot.
Well, it’s because there’s a performance divergence for resto in raids vs m+. Sort of like how disc is good in raids but less so in keys. If you primarily raid, then resto can feel pretty bad.
Guardian and feral, though, are pretty bad in both m+ and raid.
I agree that bears need help, but us holy types are doing fine as far as I can tell.
That could be what it is. I do raid a fair bit (not succesfully as you can see from my profile but my guild does try every weekend).
Demonology got nerfed because the Implosion Azerite Trait Buff was way overdone.
No azerite trait should be 200% better than the other Azerite traits.
Demonology is my #1 alt and even I agree with the nerf. I’m wearing 370 Azerite gear on her because it outperforms the 400 azerite gear I have on her for the same slot by a VERY large margin. That’s not something that should happen.
Demonology will still be VERY viable, and still be the top lock spec. The Implosion spec will not be viable anymore, but it was never meant to be. Implosion is meant to be for AoE, not single target. The Azerite Trait is meant to be there for large AoE Raid fights, where Demonology locks can swap out gear.
TLDR; for some reason: Demonology got nerfed swiftly because it’s a fix to a buff they made. They buffed an Azerite trait by 100%, but it overbuffed the trait. It made the trait 200% better than any other Demonology trait and made an AoE skill mandatory for single target.

Can this meme die? If you cry about bears being op for the end of night hold and barely into tomb you should get suspended from the forums. By the time bears were considered God’s so was just about every other tank

To be fair, demo is getting over nerfed.

EPdecon is still viable, compared to the other builds on Ptr.
It’s agreed across the boat EP nerf is justified.
The problem comes in where the interaction of EP and tyrant spell que was reverted, lowering burst output, aswell as the even bigger “fix” to felguard haste benefit, which sits us at about 25% damage nerf.
Now, the biggest issue demo has, is it requires higher ST damage on a patchwerk fight then most if not all other specs, simply due to how punishing mechanics are specifically to that spec. This may cause it to fall behind very quickly, hopefully it doesn’t, but it’s not looking to good tbh.
BM monks are probably the best tanks due to stagger, but there 's a higher learning curve. This very character was made when MoP was current content.
I rolled a monk because my goal was to have one of every tank. I find 0 enjoyment in that spec I just don’t get how you do but I salute you!
