3 spellschools. Stun/coil. Fake casts. Knowi g how to tyrant in pvp (fiend/dog/tyrant straight up).

Its been the same for more than 2 years now, and demo has been a to s tier since then.

I’ve tried it once in tww and it felt super clunky and not fun at all. Also haven’t seen one other lock playing it.

Despite everything you just said, demo was a top spec for over 2 years.

You might not like the gameplay, thats fine, but yall needto stop being drama queens if you want to be taken seriously.

Ive played both aff and demo at full honor.

Obviously aff does more dmg/is probably stronger, but demo imo is stronger than last season, and it was already a solid spec

Yea I’m not saying it cant work. I just prefer aff over everything else and always have. I am prob biased on the matter.

Not sure what to make of this reply, demo hasn’t been S tier for a while.

A tier maybe depending on the season but in general demo’s been weaker than its former self after the s1 df nerfs.

Also i’m a big fan of the summoner playstyle, not sure what angle you’re pushing but it’s very apparent that long cast times and ramp doesn’t translate very well into pvp right now.

Every top lock i know has said the same thing, demo damage is too weak for a ramp spec. But sure you’re the only good lock that can play demo properly right? Hilarious.

Yeah thats fine. But ive been demo forever now and my only complaint is that disbolist is objectively worst than SH, because diabolist is just awesome flavor and aesthetics as demo.

Those changes don’t affect demo, it’s mainly aff/destro.

It’s not really a buff either, they just reverted a nerf they made within a week and most locks are running soul harvester so no one really noticed the nerfs in pvp.

So basically nothing’s changed.

Yea they said it was a mistake and are in the process of fixing it. Torn on to believe them or not. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was intentional and then the massive backlash they got made them revert it.

Yeah diabolist was nerfed and reverted now as you mentionned, but SH is generally better for now.

Diabolist has you ramp up for procs and more dmg on tyrant, while SH just gives you straight up bigger dmg through your normal rotation. Ill be trying both tho, maybe some bugs will be fixed (demon procs behaving weirdly and wasting dmg)

Demo s play has been a top comp for almost all of df.

Demo mlx the same. Its probably disgusting right now.

Demo ret/dk depending on seasons.

Its not even up for debate, it has been quite strong for almost all of DF.

Id really like to know who said demo was bad with how strong splay has been and mlx.

Well, as the season shapes up ill probably do both.

Gonna be hard in lfg if everyone specifically wants aff all the time.

Id rather Q than sit lfg forever lol.

I was actually doing a lot of damage on demo when I tested it. We will see.
