You get the crests to finish maxing out your Hero track to get the Mythic appearance.
We don’t need Mythic gear from Delves.

no there is no reason to, mythic gear is pointless if you want mythic gear work toword getting into a mythic raiding guild or a high key team, you already get heroic gear and the crests get you to 6 out 6 heroic which is already way beyond what most need on top of that you get get he mythic transmog color. If you want to challenge yourself and get actual Mythic gear then go do mythic lol, high tier delves are there to help provide you extra resources to push into higher Mythic + or mythic raiding but its silly to think Delves should scale into that level too.

Just ask Blizzard to make a new “tier” of gear that is just 1 ilvl below Mythic, so you aren’t stepping all over people’s toes or whatever, and call it… I don’t know “Mythic -1” .. I lack a proper imagination for this. Have this drop from Delves.

Solo players should be able to advance their gear just as far as anyone else. It’s antiquated to think otherwise.

Considering myth track gear isn’t needed to clear the content that awards it (obviously, otherwise it’d be impossible to acquire), I’m personally on board with letting delve gear scale all the way up to myth track as well.
