the issue is that blizzard purposefully made delve gear better than mythic zero and low mythic plus going up to 616. there is no reason to go through the pain of pugging mythic plus when you can do delves for two weeks spend some keys and get hero pieces. delves were supposed to be solo content , then changed to group content and both raiders and mythic plus players spammed to get higher gear . either way i am glad that people enjoy them . it’s good content but its introduction was weird
I believe that your achievements show that you have zero history whatsoever in M+. You haven’t done enough of it to have formed an opinion on it, let alone the people who play it.
I know you aren’t. Most people who have no idea what they’re talking about seem to have extremely strong opinions on those things that they have no idea about.
I’m simply pointing out that your opinion has absolutely zero value as it pertains to M+, because you don’t do it.

I feel like delves are designed for players that do not enjoy M+ in the first place, so there really shouldn’t be much overlap besides alts supplementing progression through delves for their early ilvls.

I dont understand the “us vs them” mentality in things that are completely separate from each other at the level the vast majority of people play at.
At the highest end you will likely need to participate in all forms of content to be the most competitive. Thats fine.
Delves give an alternative to M+ to a lower ceiling. That doesnt make M+ bad or “rotting”. I am very glad I have a couple meta achievements left and I can never step foot in a Delve again. That doesnt mean Delves are bad.
Its great that people wanted easier, untimed content and got it. I’m happy its not my only option as I was bored farming 8s last week.

Path of least resistance though. Im guaranteed loot at the end of the run, and considerably high level gear in comparison for the difficulty/time invested.
Anyone who cares about character progression will have the overlap.

I have zero interest in pet battles and have never had the patience to invest into them, but if you want to Victory Road - Elite Four your way to endgame gear, it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest, good for you Pet people, enjoy your content.

Well, that’s the issue is that M+ players are attacking delves. This is the portion of the community of M+ that i say is rotting, because there is a toxic side of pugging M+. Pugging in general has it. Granted, not all pugging, but it’s there.
Mythic plus is great for the game for those who love pushing harder and harder content.
Delves are great for a more casual audience to still get good gear and experience tiered end game content as well. I don’t see delve players asking mythic plus to go away, it’s only the selfish M+ players who can’t handle other people getting gear, and think the game revolves around them.

the pace of coffer keys recharge is making me realize that I do not need to bother at all with any delve I find even a little annoying.
Not sure if that’s intended or just a side effect of their intense time-gating of the content pace but unless things change we’re going to be hard pressed to maintain 8 keys a week to do the full vault delve unlock on bountifuls at all.
Zero reason to bother with any delve that isn’t maximum fun.

Heroic level gear for a sub 10 minute run IS very easy gearing, objectively. It takes clearing a +7 for the same, something the vast majority arent/can’t do right now.
“Its only selfish M+” and there it is. Saying its very (arguably too easy) to gear in Delves is not the same as “attacking” but outright saying player who have an opinion on that speed are selfish is.

oh yeah…that is a HUGE plus.
Really hoping they remove tank and heals entirely and just make it all DPS.
No waiting on those roles…and seems like it’d be much easier to balance a lot of the game without having to take those two into account.

Simple fact is, I am 42 years old. I have been playing this game since launch!
I have been through the stages, I have have walked through the raids, slugged my way through almost every inch of content this game has to offer and I am tired. M+ put an end to my GaD meter in this game. I sound like a grandpa when I say this but we ran dungeons with naked tanks as fast as we could for fun before they went and tried to market it to kids and slapped a timer on it.
I dont want to log in, spawn into a dungeon and have to race to the end anymore. I dont want to log in, get to a raid and have someone take it so serious that it takes all the fun out of it. I have done my time in this game. I have liked the delves and the loot rate. I just want to get on and heal some stuff, kill some stuff, do a few things and fish and farm in peace. I think the game is finally at a place where this seems like its a possibility.
