On tier 8? Yes. It was there on beta too but not on live yesterday for some reason. Maybe it was a bug that they didn’t spawn, who knows. Buggiest expansion so far and not because of Nerubians.
Those extra bosses are harder than the actual bosses. You can avoid them entirely sometimes though, you don’t need to kill them unless they are in the way. One option is to sacrifice a live on purpose to kill one of the mobs. I’ve killed all 3 at Tier 8+ but Tala and Velo (the two ascended) usually require a life lost.

What delve and tier? T8 doesn’t hit that hard. Try lower tier or something. I mean you aren’t entitled to clear everything.
Yeah had to reset 3 times. I’m doing fungal folly and they appeared right on the targets. That sucks. They do absolute enormous damage.
agreed. torghast imo was hands down one of the best features blizzard has ever added to wow. just imagine if torghast had another 5-10 levels of difficulty and dropped heroic / mythic ilvl gear. blizzard would of won the universe.

On Fungal you can drag those aoe spores to enemies to do a lot of damage and send them flying. It helps with that delve a lot if you do them undergeared and need DPS.
Those 2 are insane though I agree. I don’t think I beat them on T11 yet, I think I did beat them on T8 without dying just by popping all cooldowns. One is a melee one is a ranged spellcaster. The volley is an insta death if it goes off pretty much.
What did they do to delves? I have mixed info here and there.
They keep spawning alongside boss

solo players were getting smashed. and then basically if you go into a group the mobs health and damage would be less making the delve a joke.
sounds like a bug to me. players that participated should be banned and have the gear rolled back just like the renowned players that got banned for 4 days that were questing and gained 1-4 extra renowned unknowingly.

Which tier btw? I know on beta some people said they would look around the delve and if they saw those 2 in a hard to avoid spot they would go back and reset the delve every time lol.

well you are talking to someone that is on the last day of their ban from unknowingly gaining an additional 2-3 renowned worth of rep from basic questing lol.

Ahhh i did notice that. I figured it would tuned for the hurt-me-harder folks and got through them for the story and then moved on. Doing it on a bear tank was a slog and i was nearly dying a lot even in 480 gear at level 71 if more then 2 spiders where casting at me. That first mandatory delve to progress the story.
I gave up on delves honestly cause i see them going in the Torghast/M+ direction and it isn’t for solo players like me so i don’t bother unless i have to.

Well I doubt most people can kill them right now either. They are basically a huge DPS race, there isn’t any skill issues to them as much as some other stuff. You really just gotta hard burst them, outgear, level Brann and so on. If it makes you feel any better they are the hardest thing in any delve (except Zekvir himself spawning on you). I’d consider them the ultimate challenge outside Zekvirs 2nd tier itself.

yea blizzard always has the oddest way of bigging something up and making it sound extremely appetizing, and then it always turns out to be something each and every one of us never expected.
blizzard says up, you can guarantee it is down with a shade of green. always.

but like, i wasnt even aware it would be an exploit. I genuinely thought it was intended and didnt even read up on the scaling issues. i was just pew pew. Why should i be banned and my rewards ripped from me for blizzards muck up.
Now im punished with impossible group content in delves from a kneejerk reaction by devs who dont know what they want to do with their game.

Nah yeah it’s fine. I get it, plus I got 3 of them with the optional boss on top as a solo. Like, nah dude.
i was being sarcastic. because the people doing it in a group where it was obviously bugged because the mobs were scaling down instead of up.
i was just more or less comparing it to my personal situation and many others that got banned for 4 days for just leveling through a zone and unknowingly gained a few extra renowns due to a bug that we had no clue about.
i would argue the ban from the renown thing is even more dumb. you dont gain much from renown that impacts the game. Not really a ban worthy exploit.

Yea and i was doing it on tier 2 cause i thought “Maybe i can have a bit of faith?” but i was bit on the behind so my faith was wasted. Delves belong to the mythic players now. We where given Todd Howard lies on them being casual optional content.
