I definitely think DPS Brann needed to be adjusted.
He was holding aggro purely through the raw DPS he was doing, and then to top it all off he could just face-tank stuff that even as a DK I have to kite - and he did it like it was nothing.
But I am a bit confused as to why Brann didn’t have a tank spec from the start, and I think he probably needs a tank spec for things like healers and squishy DPS that are lacking a bit in control tools or damage.
Although a tank spec Brann still shouldn’t be as invulnerable as DPS Brann was/is. There should still be the expectation that the player either has to kill the enemy mobs before they chew through Brann or keep Brann alive until the enemy mobs are dead. Brann shouldn’t be face-tanking hard-hitting mobs indefinitely.
Now even if you wanted Brann to tank he will just die from all the damage he takes. There had to be some hidden scaling reducing the amount of damage he takes from attacks that they fixed today because he didn’t die like this yesterday.
I don’t think he was ever meant to or Blizz would have given him a Tank Role.
Brann is useless now, and the mobs are still hitting like a truck.
They literally killed Brann and didn’t changed the mobs scaling zzzzzzzzzz
Blizzard don’t want anyone doing delves anymore, it’s already a dead feature on launch

I did 12 delve on 3 of my character solo this week and looking foward to do 4 more tuesday when reset arrives. I’m loving it so yea, maybe a dead feature for you but there’s people that like them
Its the first week theyve been opened up. Brann scales with you. Go out and get more gear and level Brann up

Brother know what you’re talking about before talking, i literally did 10x T8 bountiful delves with my Frost DK before the hotfixes KILLED Brann and messed even more with the scaling of the mobs, now my alts can’t do what i’ve already done with my main even tho they have the same ilvl my main had.
Now, i’m sitting on a full Great Vault with max rewards in my main but i can’t do the same for my alts because they butchered the system with those bugged hotfixes.

Yeah. You did it in the EZ mode that it wasnt designed for.
Skill issue. I didnt do delves until after the hotfix and they seem just fine. Literally need to just get better

What ilvl are your alts?
I tried a tier 8 on my fresh 80 Frost Mage yesterday that’s at 512 ilvl just to see what they were like on another class.
I couldn’t take the bosses down, but I’m also not supposed to be able to. Tier 8 is the end of the Delve progression system, it was never meant as an easy way to get M+5 level gear.
So I’ll find the highest tier my mage alt can complete and run them, then as my mage gears up I’ll push to higher and higher tier Delves until I’m clearing tier 8 Delves on them and getting those rewards.
As long as people can realistically complete a tier when at the recommended ilvl (including every spec for solo) - that’s all Blizzard should be aiming for.

My thoughts exactly.
They clearly did zero testing on these things and it shows.
Now they are scrambling to fix them so they can save face as these where supposed to be THE THING of this expansion.
How can you expect the devs to test Delves when the devs don’t play WoW?

Would be stupid to be able to max out delves the first week they’re available while under geared and calling it “the thing of the expansion” dontchathink?
IT’s funny, this is one of the things I predicted will be changed in a joke thread. I was joking but it turned out to be real. Blizzard stop listening to my jokes.
Not the exact thing, but my prediction was all aggro onto brann will instantly be redirect to the player. This may as well been the case.

My point was they are clearly borked or else they would be doing so many hotfixes on them.
To me that’s a sign they didn’t do thorough testing before rolling this hot garbage out.
Well seeing as we’re capped on our ilvl, which is much lower than what the season allows, and you’re complaining about not being able to do the delves and agreeing that you only want to do them when you can out-gear them.

Also I never said I can’t do them, just that I won’t.
I don’t want to waste my time on content that was clearly rushed out the door.
I image if I sunk countless hours gearing to 600+ and played my absolute A game, while also cheesing all the obvious bugs then yeah…
HOWEVER, that’s not my idea of fun.
